- I asked my wife to come up with a few things that she wasn't expecting when we got married. Here are her thoughts...

I think taking Chrissy to the USA could be very hard on her, I would highly suggest you take a few trips to the USA to help with her adjustment. She is very attached to her family!
I think taking Crissy to the US will be so depressing or even devastating for her.
I grew up in the Philippines, migrated to the United States when I was 22 years old, I'm 60 years old now, and always miss the Philippines. I would like to give a fatherly advice not to bring her to the United States or you would regret it in a long run. I saw a lot of young Filipina who got married to a foreigners and when they start to learn the US way of life they changed for a bad way drastically. Even the kids that grew up here in the US has no manners and never had respect to elders. You better off being the kids to the US when they're grownup already...like atleast over 18 years of age.
She means she miss being with her family 24/7 eat together, chat together , spend time together vs they’re close by but is like daily hi and bye . Great couple, lots of blessings to both of you ❤️

Chrissy, you should never feel embarrassed about your English usage. Half the world, including myself, speak just one language. I am the one who should be embarrassed. I always wanted to learn Spanish because California has a lot of Spanish speaking people, but I just never got around to it. You have learned another language, and continue to learn, and I applaud you for that, and don't you dare feel apologetic when using your second language! Stay safe you two.
After 25 years, my Filipina wife and I still have communication problems. Get use to it.

The reason why I think she said her life is easier is bcz she more economic freedom. Both of you are by no means rich but you live comfortably. You buy what you want and also share it with her family. And you have car too as bonus. That’s more than enough for a Filipino family.

Tim needs to understand that Crissy's decisions is just as important as his. If Crissy is not comfortable going to the US, then maybe it's time for you both to reconsider it (even though it may be in the far future). Tim mentioned in another video that he always felt detached from his family and has never experienced an attachment as Crissy has on her family. This could be the reason Tim is not able to relate when Crissy says she misses her family. I understand that her parents house is just ten houses away, but the fact that she is not spending most of the time with them (like she used to) makes her miss them. No offense, but I feel that Tim undermines Crissy's opinions at times. For instance, in a past video, Crissy was wanting an umbrella to protect the baby from the sun, but Tim was persistent in letting the baby exposed to the sun as he needed the vitamin D. Never undermine a mother's instincts to protect her baby. This is not a hate comment but I want Tim to read this and look at things from a different perspective. Good day.
She has Great English and should be very proud of her accomplishment.

Chrissy got a lovely sweet nature, taking her to USA will be totally overwhelming for her total culture shock.
Yeah, she never will be ready for the US. You will see a very sad Chrissy. Might be good for the first year, but if she doesn't fast get some friends or family over there, she will feel homesick. I mean you heard in her speech, she misses family even family lives 10 houses away.
She is a very naive woman in a good way, but her English is awesome.

Chrissy, God Bless you. My wife and I had the same issues that you and Tim have and will continue to have for some time. It all gets better as time goes by. My wife and I decided it would be better for our relationship if we stay here in the Philippines. No doubt it would be a bad move to move to the USA and take my wife away from her family. I've been hoping to meet a Filipina that would want to move to the U.S. but it will take me a long time to save up money to make the trip there. I watched your videos $1000 budget, I live on $621 a month U.S. that I get from disability and that's why it's hard to save money. Y'all keep up the good work!!

If she misses her family that is only 10 houses away, then she will feel lost in the U.S.A. and very lonely for her Mother.
Unfortunately most Americans don't have close family relationships like the people in the Philippines.

Her biggest differences between her life then and now are more tv , more movies, and she lives 1 minute away from her parents instead of in the same house with them. I’d say she’s doing pretty well.

Well, what a revelation, thanks for sharing. it's good insight into her feelings and emotions. Timmy you're a lucky dude! My advice to you before taking Chrissy to America is let her watch a lot of American movies, TV shows, news etc. She'll learn american culture and get familiar with America very quickly. She will find how diverse it is and she'll have some introduction to "Freedom" as we know it. American Freedom is really something unique in the world. You will never understand it until you live it long enough to appreciate it. We moved to the US in 1993 and I was shocked when I finally realized what Freedom really meant, it took me a few years of living here in the US before I finally understood and appreciate it. America is indeed land of the Free and the home of the brave. The American Anthem says it all. I was born and raised in The Philippines. I can not choose between the US and Philippines. It has to be both for me. I love America and I love the Philippines, I would die for both countries. So when the time comes for Kristin to come to America don't be surprised if she wants to go back to the Philippines. Be patient with her and understand her and tell her that it will take time for her to get to know America and what it stands for. Sort of like she's patient with you about learning the Philippine culture. Good luck and God Bless! Love your posts, they're very real.

I feel you Chrissy..... We have similar cultures (PNG) where family is everything, soooo family oriented..... I just love you for who you are, you don't pretend to be somebody else, when you're not?..... You have a great husband who is more caring and very considerate. I tell you, White men have a totally different lifestyle from us (not in a bad way though), but Tim is handling everything very well...... He fits is well. Lol she reminds me of my Filipina wife. A pretty lady that is smart, hard working and getting me addicted to Netflix Korean dramas lol. The Filipina ladies are known for their loyalty and hearts of gold.
