But he put HoWa in tab where everything listed for 22ex. As I see, he has multiple tabs "22ex", "26ex" filled with random garbage. This says a lot about his own trading ethics.
That's not bad ethics though? That's how people have been pricing items since you could sell items in premium tabs in PoE. You place them in what you think it's worth, then as the item fails to sell you move it down and down to cheaper tabs until it sells. Saves a fload of time pricing every individual item accurately and if someone's willing to pay the price for it, that means it's clearly worth it to them or they'd either not message you or send you an offer that does sound reasonable to them. Now in this case he's also using it as a dumptab, which also a lot of players do. This way if he has anything worth 22ex, which is apparently the minimum price he's willing to trade anything for if that's what he uses as a dump tab, it automatically gets listed and that saved even more time because now you won't have to sort it into sales tabs to begin with. Lazy? Absolutely. But lazy is not frowened upon in PoE, and it definitely isn't unethical.
@ this is how people sell :) (he will doublecheck item, realize it is worth like 1div, not 22ex and wont answer you) this is how people NOT sell. Who are those people you are talking about? I never use tabs like this, I have cache private quadtabs for mapping, then I manually sort everything there and manual price everything because I do not want to fill trading site with the random garbage. In poe1 situation was much better, you could filter by price and expect expensive items would be actually good there. In poe2 if you filter by price, you will still see 0ex items. Trading site literally became garbage dump because of those
@@xGaviJax it's weird how that behavior landed to PoE2 when that literally never happens in PoE1. I mean spamming if under priced sure, but the buyer never ever invites the seller to party
That guy was being nice about it. He listed it for 22 exalted, that dude upcharged himself. Now I know what you're thinking, "but he typed 7 divines not 22 exalted", yes but he put it in the tab that's priced 22 exalted for the whole tab, not one that's priced individually.
@@rekrn12345 Not even bots why would you say that? Everyone wants a 7 divine item for 22 exalted. People are sitting there on live searches waiting for a godly deal like that.
So he way underpriced an item is what he did there. He thinks he set the price to 7 divines, he didn't. He put it in a tab where all items are set to 22 exalted for the whole tab which overwrites the price he tries to set. He needed to put that in an individually priced tab for that to register properly, which he could've known because he had to set that tab up that way to have it sell all items for 22ex to begin with. Then the resulting spam is because obviously 22ex is way cheaper than 7 divines and everyone would love a piece of that pie.
That's weird, because the tooltip when he hovers over the item said "Exact Price: 7x Divine Orb". If it was actually listed for a different price then the UI should reflect that in the tooltip and UX flow. Of course we all know it's early access and there are going to be bugs, but it's still not good UX.
@@AkariSarzul It's in the tab that says ~price 22 exalted and people whisper him for a 22 exalted offer. So the logical thought is that tab is set to 22 exalted. The game will sell anything in that tab for 22 exalted no matter what you type in the item notes, and that's essentially what putting it up for sale is, an item note with some parameters for the trade API to read. Since you told the tab to take over that functionality, you'll see none of the other items in that tab even have any sales price at all, but they are listed at 22 exalted each because that's what you told it to do when you set it up.
@@reznovvazileski3193 I understand that. That doesn't mean it isn't bad UX. The tooltip UI should have said 22 EX, and the price setting UX shouldn't have been allowed. The game let him perform a function that actually does nothing and actively misleads the user.
@@AkariSarzul I see. As of your initial suggestion I don't think it's remotely worth it to show it as 22ex since that'd require to program the entire functionality of the tab being able to write data to the item, with all the potential bugs and there's a lot of scary ones in there. Also the fact it'd have to write a price every single time you put an item in there for every single person, the way people use those tabs (like this guy they just dump all kinds of crap in there) that'd get really bad for performance. All just to protect the 1 in maybe 10k people who didn't read what they had to explicitly set up. And then pray they can figure it out even with that function. I can see an argument for not allowing people to set a price at all though if the tab has the price for all setting. I genuinely don't know how much work that'd even be, but since they've never bothered to in 12 years of PoE1 I very much doubt they will in PoE2 if it's a big job anyway. Never say never though you can always bring it up as feedback in case it's an easy fix. But it's a very niche problem and more of a knowledge issue than a permanent user experience issue. Once you found out once you'll never fall for anything like it again. So if it's going to be considered at all, it'll be bottom of the priority list for sure.
@@reznovvazileski3193 It should just make the same function call as the price setting UI except at the moment he adds it into the tab, when it goes to add it to the live listing. Then from there the only other UX control needed would be a different UI for the price setting that instead shows the price was set by the tab, and cannot be changed by the user. The core functionality exists, all they have to do is do it with correct UX design. As it stands they are letting users perform functions that do nothing and displaying information that actively lies to the user. You shouldn't have your game lying to your user ever.

POE 1.5
Trading site literally became garbage dump because of those

that happens like every single fucking time I put items on trade

That guy was being nice about it. He listed it for 22 exalted, that dude upcharged himself.
Now I know what you're thinking, "but he typed 7 divines not 22 exalted", yes but he put it in the tab that's priced 22 exalted for the whole tab, not one that's priced individually.
@@rekrn12345 Not even bots why would you say that? Everyone wants a 7 divine item for 22 exalted. People are sitting there on live searches waiting for a godly deal like that.

so much D4 trash.
flame the game like d4 one shots stupid bugs same shit except get one shot by white mob game needs about 400 patches
what on earth did you even write?
Want to try that again with English and some grammar?
