😂 Turnabout is fair play.😂 When I bought my 881 the technician put the chain on backwards and it pissed me off. He scored the drivers really bad on his first startup. Have a blessed week tree brother.
There's also a plumbing tape out there, fiberglass and I think you wet it and wrap it around. It's like a rock once it sets. +16 here in Newfoundland today.
Handle Wrap - I wrap “tie wire” around my hammer handle below the head, each turn tight against the last (no gaps). Two or three inches wide total. It is possible to wrap two layers thick, but adds weight. Cover with a layer of electrician tape to make it look neat.
I use 6" (in finished length) of paracord wrap, then cover that with epoxy till it makes a hardened shell over the cordage. I've overstruck so many times while splitting, and still hardly a scratch on that epoxy.
Thanks for the video, I can't wait until you get in another unit. These trees are junk, school marm, snag tops, rot, and wind twist. The one that's below the log at 11:50 sums it up.
10.45...chunk out of the axe...instead of hockey tape get some model makers glass fiber sheet and some slow set epoxy. Scuff up the wood with 60 grit paper. Then mix your epoxy , soak the glass cloth and wrap around the shaft. Once you have wrapped enough on wrap the whole lot with cling film (saran wrap?) or parcel wrap to give you some 'clamping' pressure. Trust me it makes them bombproof :) Happy wedgin' :) Love watching you cut.
Shame you didn't have a game cam to put next to his saw so we could see the reaction when he starts it! You've given me some inspiration for tomorrow haha!
That’s what mates are for, taking the piss. The amount of smoke that saw is going to put out , he might get a monsoon bucket of water booped on him. Be great to see reaction on the next video .
@@johac7637 WRC is ~$1000/mbf ~same as #1 DF, so are shakers paying MUCH higher prices than $1000/mbf? for "old growth" rotten WRC? I guess there is some good wood in there but yikes... my property is covered in WRC, but it is all 2nd growth and not worth much once you account for all the branches.
Be on your guard because your buddy will seek a turnabout
-23° Celsius here in North Dakota, wishing I had your weather. Love the prank😂.

I am sure he will get you back!
You'd be a good drummer! Wedge rhythm is spot on!
Just remember what goes around comes around with pranks. Would love to see his reaction though.🎉

Oil in the muffler- that's a good one!
Gooood pranks. Marshmallows in the bootz are a nice touch. Stinky but yet smells like a yummy snack🙈
That’s a good one
Now Bjarne... you know you just put yourself on the naughty list..... 🤔😳

Ya the wood isn’t the best here.
Yepper from the looks of your thunder ax you is a master beater!!! Ha ha ha be safe and sane well safe anyways Have a happy Christmas 🎄
I have a rubber protector that fits just below my Axe Blade. If you miss a swing it protects the wood. Might want to get on "B".

Looks like you need the new super hydraulic Power Wedge.

For your axe you could try "jb weld fiber weld"

Theyve all been changed. ;D
Oil in the muffler haha
Enjoy your videos.
What is ‘fence post’? Looked for it online and just get results for fences not cutting down trees.
LOL
It’s a term used to describe the cutting of a tree that is hung-up in another tree. You cut the tree as if your bucking to drop it.
Bjarne. What pranks have they played on you? Shaving foam or custard in your boots! 🤦🏼♂️👍🏴
A common harmless prank is sneaking rocks in bottom of your partners bag and adding another each day till he finds them.
Hi could the wedge maker. Design you a axe handle saver out of the same material as the wedge?
My plan is to weld a metal plate as a cover
Do you ever hit a tree that is full of water??
Quite often.
These trees are not very tall. Are you up in elevation?
They are taller than they look..
roughly about a thousand ft in elevation give er take.
😂😂😂
Do they actually accept that rotten garbage wood? Ugg, why cut it...
The shakers actually go after the logs are lifted out, it's all big $ now.
