"LOLITA" - Frollo/Alice Crossover

Based on Vladimir Nobukov's novel "Lolita".

-That is the written plot for this video, PLEASE read it! It is viewable even if you don't have a deviantart account now.
-I'm sure by now anyone who regularly watches my videos knows that I'm not afraid to make videos about anything and everything, about the darkest of dark subjects, and this is the truest testament to that. It is based on the novel by Vladimir Nobukov, which features a middle aged man falling in love with a taking in a young girl. I've changed the story a lot to allow for Disney characters, but mostly it follows it to the best of my ability.
It is NOT in ANYWAY promoting or endorsing paedophilia in any way shape or form. The idea was going to be scrapped, but I did the preview and people liked it, and this is just for fun & entertainment and to see if I even could make it work.
Anyone who feels that they cannot watch this, DON'T.
**CHARACTERS related to the novel***
Frollo = Humbert
Alice = Dolores (Lolita)
Gaston = Clare Quilty
Phoebus = Lolita's mother (very little similarities besides their accidental deaths)

I have a confession to make as well.. before I made this video, I had never seen Alice in Wonderland before. n_n haha, it was av interesting movie, but I can't begin to tell you how freaking difficult it was to get it to mix with Hunchback of Notre Dame. I think I used EVERY frame of Alice material that didnt have something weird going on in it. XD
If you notice any visual ticks/glitches, it was the rendering process, not me. For some reason vegas loves screwing up my crossovers and never renders correctly. If anyone knows where I can get a better version, at least version 8, please tell me!

O________o This makes me insane. I mean, you have a part where Alice is sitting on Frollo's lap and she POINTS to something and he LOOKS where she pointed. This video is just...wow. You really have an eye for scenes that link together in entirely seperate movies.
Seeing how Alice in Wounderland was written by a man who liked little girls and Frollo is a freak of nature and pretty muched sang about raping a gypsy I say you picked the characters well.

I really like this take of Lolita with Disney that you have made. Lolita is one of my favorite stories, but don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I like pedophilia but it's a classic story that really questions what is real love. I think you did a wonderful take on this with Disney and I'm happy to hear that you're not afraid to express any kind of subject matter at all. And I really don't think like a few seconds of cartoon sex is anything to lose your head over. Great job!!! ^_^

Wow! That was truly awesome. No matter how uncomfortable the subject may be, it can't be denied that this is a masterpiece. It looked so...real. Very sensual and original. A+ for you for being brave enough to make and post something like this.

This is wonderful. Child abuse makes me cringe, but you were able to make a dark, sad tale of desire out of it and for that I applaud you. I don't know how many times I've watched this video now. This inspired me to get back to work on my novel addressing a similar theme, so thanks a bunch!
I just...I don't even know. Lolita is one of my absolutely favorite books and to couple it with this is just amazing. You are a genius. I just don't know how you do this stuff. LOVE IT.
Wow, this is amazing! Very few of these narrative music videos have such a captivating story line and sophisticated character development. Though this is loosely based on the Nobukov's novel, your story arch is still very unique and the character development clearly had to require a lot of prior knowledge of the human psychology in this kind of situation. Again, very, very well done. You've brought these crossover videos to much higher standard. I daresay I've never seen anything on here as good
This is such a great vid!!! The music was very catchy and everything was well edited! (and poor Phoebus looked like he was going to have a heart attack in that one scene!)

I just started reading this book on Friday. After seeing this for the millionth time. It's wonderful! still come to watch this every time my head hurts and I need some help continuing :)
i looked up the English translation for this song and fell in love with this video all over again. i don't usually comment on vids cuz i don't ever know what to say but i just have to tell you how amazing this video is. i wish i could get my hands on the book. i guess I'll have to settle with watching the 2 movies. one day i hope i can read the book and appreciate this video even more.

Exactly! I love it even more when Alice pointed towards Gaston and Frollo gave a sort of disgusting expression (he pouted, or so it seemed). Oh it was terrific and I could not help feeling creeped out a bit by it.

So, now I see what Shade was talking about when she mentioned graphic sex in vids, and I think she overreacted a bit. I was thinking more than two seconds of vague sex, which really wouldn't belong on youtube. This was pretty tame in comparison, and it really wrenched at my heart, which is great!

Well, I think it's absolutely disgusting and nothing could be more wrong, but it's incredibly well done and I respect that immensely.
This is probably the most brilliant crossover I've ever watched- and I've watched many crossovers. I absolutely adored the book, it was just so thrilling and different to most things I've read [[I'm not often into reading about perverts :D]] and you've certainly done the book justice with theses characters and this whole video. What's the name of the song? It's very lovely
I was watching this with a friend that can speak french and english.. While i was watiching the video, she was sat with her mouth open, translating the song for me. Suddenly i understand things a lot better. Alothough i like the video a lot better than the song :)

My god, this editing was just beyond anything I'd seen before. What a unnerving, evocative and disquietening video you've created with consice characters and story. You've tackled a highly controvisal theme and have done it commendable justice. Brillant work.
