    These look to be a well made camera but I was wondering is there or is there any plans to add a lens something like a mamiya press lens to give it more flexibility.

    What is the appropriate exposure time in a pinhole camera? Will the positive and negative ilford photographic paper work with this camera? Does anyone have correct information? Thanks.

    Hi ! What does the filter do exactly ?

    • @ONDUCameras
      @ONDUCameras  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, filters are either used to extend the exposure time even more ( Neutral density filters AKA ND filters ) or to adjust contrast for instance in BW film, also for instance while using IR films a IR filter is required to get the desired affect.

    When using 6x9 what numbers should we see when advancing?

    • @ONDUCameras
      @ONDUCameras  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      1 to 8!

      @@ONDUCameras I understand there are 8 exposure sour roll but for the second exposure what number should I advance to?

      @@oldsoulsound with the 6x9 setting as well as 6x9 camera you look at the bottom window and go with numbers 1,2...8. The only cameras where you skip numbers are the 6x6 setting on the Multiformat 6x12 as well as the 6x17 ONDURAMA. Thank you!

    What about when using 35mm film?

  • @crappfoto
    @crappfoto 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You would better take care of the Schwarzschild Reprocity. So you have to give much longer time for exposure, dont't you ?

    • @ONDUCameras
      @ONDUCameras  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The reciprocal failure is take into account on the exposure chart. Obviously it will change depending on the film but this one seems to work fine for most people. I've yet to get any complaints for the exposure times. Exposures with infrared or filters are a whole different matter and the extra f stops while using filters should be considered.

    It's held together only by magnets? Heck no, thanks.

    • @ONDUCameras
      @ONDUCameras  ปีที่แล้ว

      The magnets on the first versions since 2013 are holding up still, they do not loose their strength unless exposed to high heat which would damage the wood itself. And many photographic producers use them in various applications.

      @OhFishyFish ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ONDUCameras It's not about losing their strength, but I'm not a person who keeps their camera in three layers of protective pouches on a pillow, I just throw them around anywhere they fit. Sooner or later the edge will snag on something and open, exposing the film. A real shame, otherwise it looks like a great camera.

      @@OhFishyFish Thank you for your comment, at the moment there have been no such observations from my customers with more than 10k units in circulation, my personal camera has fallen 3m onto rocks with no opening, one flew into the sea for a good 3 minute swim with the inside still dry, but those are just my experiences. Maybe to my unknowing there have been issues with someone, but nobody reported it so far. :) If you have any other observations, I'm keen on learning and adapting all the time.

      @@jmcgonnell it's my sole livelyhood making these cameras and products, hence if I don't reach the expectations of my customers essentially my existence is at threat so to say. Even though when I'm oveworked or don't manage to answer all emails or sort out any mishaps immediately In the end I always do. And it's in my wish to make products that will endure longer than me or the people that buy them. This is the reason I keep getting repeat customers that have been supporting my work since the very beginning.
