Hey @@newtecpro I'm connecting to a model railway controller and followed the instructions with the power source being the controller of course. It only shows when I turn the dial up but it's flashing rather than continuous any idea?. I've noticed the multimeter shows max 15.7v despite the controller says 0-12v... And when I flipped from forward to reverse on the controller I had a big crackle and smoke... And now a dead meter 😂...
Hi dear friend. No form of short circuit or improper connection. Especially the DC power supply. You may have connected the + and - wires incorrectly or they have collided with each other
Instead of following "tutorial" like this, it would be much better for you to read the vc288 dataasheet, since the max rating for pow supply is 24 V and with the connection wrongly shown in this video you can easily reach 100 V, burning the device.
Yes that's right. This cheap product is made in China. But one question: Wasn't this video a good guide for you? Did our video help you? If you have any suggestions, please let us know so that we can improve them in the next video.
The best tutorial I saw about voltmeter and ammeter was this. Thank you, especially the method of connecting the wires is very important
Thank you for your attention. In this video, try to show the method of connecting the wires in the simplest way
Meskipun tanpa kata, tapi sangat mudah di mengerti. saya tinggalkan like untuk anda
Thanks for your like. Thanks for your support
Thanks, I like that.
thank you. Your message gives us positive energy
Can you tell what connector is used for current measurement on the PCB? I want to use the exact one.
XH Connector 3 pin and VH Connector 2pin
Ive bought one of these but it doesn't have the metal ring next to the plugs. It looks identical but for that. Is the setup the same ?
Yes, it is the same. The simple method is this training

Wrong video
Power supply must be less then 30 volts dc
Testing voltage can be upto 100 volts
@@NikSin-x7p the controller I'm using is 12v max output
Good job
Thank you for your encouraging message. I hope you will see our next videos and find them useful
i follow this guide but my dsn vc288 , burn-smoke 🎉

@@newtecproit's quite simple wiring connection, I think the vc288 itself has a problem.

I'm glad it was useful to you
Price?
The price varies, but you can buy it for about $2
wiring red with black etc makes everything super confusing worse than Chinese instructions that come with it
