Thanks! FYI, on SKIL table saw TS 6307-00, the riving knife cannot be removed. SKIL recommends lowering the riving knife to its lowest position.

Oh that's interesting Charles. I've never heard of a riving knife that couldn't be removed. I know some portable saws aren't recommended for use with a dado blade as well. Thanks!
