- Look, I have no idea why I keep doing this, but actually I do. Because I want to see good stuff in more resolution and 8 times longer.

Looks like they went with more closed spaces compared to the last two movies, which I loved by the way.
Alien movies, especially later ones fall into a category of movies that the word "generic" does not stick to.
I love that in addition to great horror and effects, Ridley Scott alien movies dive deeper and explore serious philosophical themes. I hope this will still be the case with Fede Alvarez directing this one.

It is, but notice the Romulas space station is like the Prometheus. Clean, more spacious, and state of the art. The small ship is like the Nostromo, dark narrow corridors, used, rundown. No expense spared for scientific reasons. Especially for the Xenomorphs and cheap as you can for anything else.

@@paulbarrett5791 Theres actually 2 Modulus on that space-station 1) is the Remulus modulus, whit simple tecnology and scientist´s and 2) the Romulus modulus, more complex, futurist (retro-futurist) and capable to alove crio-decks, androids, and all kind of experiments..... cheers

After the 'Fede' lighting shot and it switches to the dark corridor can defo see suggestions of a Xenomorph.
I hope this movie takes me back to that unforgettable experience watching ALIEN on opening day

My idea for an alien tv-series is as follows: It takes place just before the events in the first alien movie and happens on a planet near where the nostromo spaceship
is shipping ore.
Weyland-Yutani is on the planet and have terraformed it for years,when they discovers a cave with lots of xenomorph eggs.
One of them get's infected and a xenomorph is born. It turns out to be a queen,and a lot of the Weyland-Yutani humans are infected and then
a war breaks out.
All the humans on the planet are wiped out and only a few manage to escape in a spaceship.Then they nuke the planet from orbit.
Then Weyland-Yutani regrets the decision and a hunt for the xenomorph begins.They get a tip that there's a crashed spaceship on lv426 and sends
the robot Ash on the Nostromo spaceship.
But they are informed that the mission has failed and that Nostromo has gone missing.Then Weyland-Yutani get's
a tip about an xenomorph on Fiorina161 and sends a team of researchers there.They finds a surviving prisoner that is impreagnated and a queen is born.
Weyland-Yutani then wants to use the xenomorphs on the planets where the engineers are located because they want the technology to seed planets with life.
They also want the elixir that provides humans with prolongued life.After they have managed to give birth to a flock of xenomorphs,they drops them
on an engineer planet and causes everyone of them to die.
Then they get hold of the blue elixir that gives
prolongued life.But several ships with engineers that where away from their planet when Weyland-Yutani wiped the
population out,pursue them and manages to get the elixir back,but gets trapped on the planet where both parties
crash.Then a battle takes place and the crew from Weyland-Yutani gets the elixir that gives them prolongued life
for thousands of years,but they are now trapped on the planet,with no means to get anywhere.But then
they see a light aproaching,but is the spaceship friends or foes ?
It turns out it is the engineers and after a battle they gets hold off the blue elixir once again,and that
gives the cliffhanger for a second season that we must wait several years to see???

My uncle and aunty thought it would be a great idea for me to watch Gremlins one night with my older brother when i was 5 when it first came out. They were looking out for us one night while our mum and dad went out for dinner, for knear on two weeks i was having nightmares about those green little fudgers!
If you do that, you might be arrested and end up with an 11 year prison sentence. Sounds perfect.

Lol Fede Alvarez never disappoints, Fede and Alien are meant to work together, cant wait to see this film at least twice in the theaters

I think you might be right! Too many references to past movies which makes me think they haven’t come up with anything fresh and new. Just the same policy of being safe and therefore boring and predictable.
