Yes I used to play with reverb at 3-4 all the time, but since I had this I hardly use reverb and yes I now incorporate a pedal. I'd rather use a pedal then have reverb in the circuit, it makes quite a difference. Thanks!
I use trem sparingly since I play slide all the time, almost always have a touch of both them and verb going though. I've had a Super in the past and my bandmate plays a Princeton Reverb, so I still like amps with both.
I have the same amp but 1961. The amp has 6v6 tubes in it so it sounds very different than 6L6. I turn it up to 4-5 during practice and use my volume on guitar to tame it. Lots of growl when you push it.
Twang for days!
I sold one of these for $200 in 1987 because it was “old” and I didn’t understand tube amps 🥲
SWEET, toneful amp! One of these and a blackface version (non-reverb) would be quite a rig!
That's one bad ass amp!
Great, great amp.
Nice. Sounds kind of nasal though.
Really nice
Thanks! :)
Does it have a clean tone? Or just gets dirty off the bat
pretty clean up until 2. still had old tubes in it, so not sure how it would react with newer tubes
Love mine. Reverb would have been a nice addition, but I have a Holy Grain pedal.

Yes I've played a lot of amps and haven't found one that comes close to the sound you get from these old Fender Deluxes
