Ludwig trying to read Toast’s ship positions even though he randomly rolled them was funny
that’s why randomly rolling positions was the best play for toast bc it makes him basically unreadable. ludwig knows toast is high iq so he tries to use logic to guess toast’s positions when it’s not possible lol

The funniest part is that ludwig would've won if he went for the "dumb" read at the end instead of the 7000iq play. "Oh all of your ships are touching the edge, this one must be too" would've worked out even though it was a complete coincidence
He may have randomly rolled them but he still looks at the random roll before deciding to go through with it. So it's more like him choosing which random he likes rather than it being true random.
So there is some mind games to it.

this was one of the most intense battleship games I ever witnessed
considering how this played out toast would be horrible at minesweeper

It was the mines. Ludwig took advantage of Toast weakness, and it’s that he had to clear the sonar even though he has a strong feeling that it’s a mine.

For his first time playing the game on stream, Toast did a great job! He just need one little ship left, and Ludwig is great with strategies on this since he's played more. Hopefully they'll play together again in the future :)

to be fair Toast didn't know mutch of the tactics and tricks while Lud did use all the tricks he had and tactic (like not popping the ship to prevent energy thats big deal) :D That nice mine strat Jebaited Taost alot :)

This was a fun video! If you ever play again, one of the characters has a skill that let's you choose six tiles anywhere on the board to bomb. Doing that strategically lets you eliminate huge chunks of the map. It's actually super OP.
