I believe that the part Carol told to Pete is what Carol always wanted to say to Ed, but before, she was to weak and scared to do that. Now she knows she has the upper hand and that shows she is a lot stronger than when she started.

In regards to the titles of the last 5 episodes, they're actually referencing a quote from dearly departed Dale all the way back in season one. "I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire, which will fit your individual needs no better than it did mine or my father's before me, I give it to you not that you may *remember* time, but that you may *forget* it for a moment now and then and not *spend* all of your breath *trying* to *conquer* it."

She went from being a abuse victim to scaring the shit out of an abuser. Lol
The scene with Pete and Carol is my favorite!! She's been in Jessie's shoes. She knows how Sam is feeling, which no doubt reminded her of Sophia, and she also knows that Pete is just a sniveling puss weed underneath the fists and the rage, just like Ed was. I love how when she walked in, he was trying to muster up any kind of intimidation, but she slapped that shit down. Carol is ready to kill and Pete has no idea how lucky he was standing down at that moment.

Honestly Carol standing up to Pete was absolutely badass cause before when she was abused by Ed she was too afraid to say or do anything but when her husband got eaten by walkers and when she put that pickaxe through his head numerous times finally releasing agression that's when she developed strength

I always thought that Morgan wanted the walkers to come engulf the car, to give him more time to get away. Then he wouldn't have to kill anybody. IMO. 🧟

So much to love/discuss in this episode. Others have covered the Rick/Carol sides well so I'll say this:
Glad you broke it into two parts! God, the fear of what happened with Aaron n Daryl and seeing the process Daryl underwent before saying "I'll go" to save Aaron's life--knowing Aaron has Eric back home, smoking (something he only does now when he's stressed), and trying to take the decision/guilt out of Aaron's hands--only to have Aaron remind him of his own worth and family. I love the friendship between these two.
The actor that played Sasha was pregnant for the last few episodes of this season and was just starting to show this episode, you can see it when she’s lying down in the grave
