Story behind this video:
After a dog graduates my off leash training program, I'll offer a "doggy outing service". I pick up the dogs (usually between 8-12 dogs), take them to dog beaches or other dog friendly places, let them play together, while continuing to practice the training they've learned. I'll rinse off any sand, trim their nails (if needed), then take them home. 2 1/2 year old Didga, aka 'Worlds Best Skateboarding Cat', who I adopted from the shelter at 13 weeks old has been joining us on the outings her whole life. Especially being a part of the group photos or videos I make. A GoPro camera was used for all the shots for this "Happy" video.
When I'm not on the group outings, Didga still joins me everywhere and loves riding in the car, at times she is very "dog like" sticking her head out the car window as we drive down the road, riding on my stand-up paddle board or enjoying a little swim. Most cats don't like being in water, BUT when she was young she didn't react too negatively to water, so I took on a HUGE challenge of 'desensitising' her even more to the water. FYI - It was several months of patience and dedication to achieve what you see in the video. I'm a professional animal trainer so PLEASE don't try getting your cat to swim at home.
Although I don't make any money directly from this video because I used the "Happy" song, I couldn't think of any other song that goes so perfectly with the - HAPPY DOGS!"

Hello & Thanks for all the "likes," shares and comments! You have questions? Here are a few answers. Didga is a girl, adopted from a shelter. I'm a dog trainer, without my own dog, but Didga grew up around the dogs I'm training, (The dogs in this video are both clients dogs and random dogs on the beach.) We live close to both the river and ocean, Didga does lots of tricks and "dog-like" behaviors, rides on my a SUP, sticks her out out the car window and swims in the river (on her own). She's also known as the "skateboarding cat." you can see her mindblowing skateboarding videos on this channel. I use a GoPro Camera & 'final cut' editing software. 7 years ago, this was my Sweet Candy Chihuahua's #1 all time favorite video to watch and chase after with the other guys on tv, God rest her soul. It's Sunday, 9/3/23, and I come to watch this video often and show my new big doggo, Radar 🥰🐶❤ But nobody chased after the dogs on tv like my beloved Candy Chihuahua 📺👀🐕💞

The doggy at the end under the shower, I know how he/she feels. You've had a fab afternoon at the beach, the sun is shining, sand in your hair and on your skin, the smell of the sun, icecreams, fizzy, the sound of the waves, good company, beautiful water and finally, a quick rinse down before you head home to a tasty dinner. This is summer in Australia and New Zealand. The perfect day.
9 years later and I still come back to this when I have a bad day. Just makes me smile and lifts my heart ❤

That song is perfect for the video!! I put a small section of that on my voicemail so I can hear it and if someone calls, they will hear it too!! The ending with the dogs is hysterical!! I laugh every time I see it! Great videography!
My dog and I are a Pet Partners Therapy team. I've been using this video with the kids at the shelter. (The kids have been removed from their families because of abuse, abandonment or neglect.) They love this video and, of course, sing along since they know the words already. It is a happy moment for them every time we watch. The dogs are special but the love Didga too- especially when she is swimming! Thanks for sharing!

I had never heard this song before I ran across your video. I will always like this song now. I was raised on six acres with a creek running through it. A bit of a free spirit. Always had dogs, cats, horses, a few rabbits, a couple cows over the years and more. So I appreciate this personally very much.
