Hi Pauline, thanks for your support. I used either a 0 or a 1. They're very similar in size and I usually grab the one that's nearest to hand. Good luck with your watercolours.
Is the Imperial purple Daniel Smith? I has such a wonderful granulation even at such a weak mix! I;m not familiar with Lilac though...is that also D.S.? Is it adding to the granulation? A very lovely painting...thank you for this tutorial!
