How do you guys feel about masataka yoshida? will he blossom in future seasons?
I think he has room to grow. He is a contact batter that’s all the soxs need right now.

He didn't start doing good until he adjusted to the Changeup. Change up is very seldomly used in NPB. It took about a month to do so. And, also facing these pitchers for the 1st time. He's a learner. In 2024, he will hit over .300.
That makes a lot of sense! I think with that mind he should be practicing against that pitch all winter and hopefully will come out to play in spring
Yoshida was fun to watch this year! I hope he continues to play well
for sure! afte the all star break he started slumping but eventually made it work.
