This piece of art is one best example of how extremely devoted an artist can become. Only with years to come, we will understand how important this album is with respect to Indian musical repertoire. This rendition of Thirupugazh redefined Bhakti for me. Pradeep is such a visionary, and a daring musician, a wonderful human being! Thank you so much for doing this Pradeep.

i like the jazz influences in the songs. pradeep kumar has done a fantastic job in bringing these poems to life, unfortunantly i don't understand tamil that much, exept for some words here and there, and the subtitles are not helping as much ither, since i can not reed small text, ( i am partialy blind, so i need a screen reader to reed the subtitles for me, and the problem here is that they are not captioned on youtube for my screen reader to reed. ) if the video says subtitles at the bottom, then its captioned well. but sadly on this video its not. how much would i love to understand what they are saying and speaking, but sadly the video is not captioned. i am not from india, nor am i from any indian background, but i love indian music in general, wether its film music or non film music, and it does'nt matter what language, or what state its from, yet i love it. thinking of becoming a playback singer in the future, and thanks to the internet i am able to share my passion for indian music with all of you, both indian and non indian audiences alike. i congratulate vijay pradeep kumar for this wonderful documentary, and wish him all the best for his upcoming endevors. hello from a persian woman from Sweden: Nicki Rafiei.

The combination of both Carnatic and western in this album has opened up a whole new spectrum in the way we perceive music. Although I'm not a very religious person, I can actually feel the spirituality and divinity in this album, which I struggled to identify in other Indian music. This musical documentary is standing truth for proving that music is perceived differently by different people and is constantly evolving. Love your work Pradeep!

I am coming back often here to listen pradeep kumar talking about " the great thiruppugazh ".
And as an aspiring and learning musician, I often wonder how pradeep combined western classical arrangements, jazz, Carnatic music, Hindustani music.
To hear agaramum aagi written in (if I'm correct) 14/16 time signature is..... I'm out of words. He seamlessly fused everything together and there isn't anything that he sings which is not overflowing with bhakthi, sprit of seeking.
I'm utterly and totally flattered.
This is just 1% of what pradeep is capable of doing. I am waiting for his track in maajja. You just won me over Pradeep anna!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sir this documentary on Arunagirinadhar Swamigal and his works by u shows ur passion on tradition. We are easily able to walk into the stream and able to visualize Arunagirinadhar Swamigal's journey inward towards his Guru and deity Lord Muruga. His compositions shows a Glimpse of his bhakthi and self realisation to us and pulls us towards him. Since bcoz of his great compassion we are able to cherish and enjoy the feelings he undergone whenever we come in contact to his compositions. Really feel elevated when going thru ur doc.
