Hey Laura lee, I'm a beauty advisor/cosmetician in Ontario and I sell derma blend at my place of work. I personally love the entire line, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the translucent powder (original). For your skin tone because you are quite tan I would have recommended the cool beige translucent powder instead, it works much better with tan to darker skin complexions then the original translucent! The translucent should be used on skin tones such as Jeffrey star or Mikey from glam and gore. I hope you try out the cool beige powder instead and hopefully you like it.

That derma blend powder is amazing !!! I tried it because of Patrick & its worth every single dollar to me, I do suggest going over where you put it with a skin tone powder if you're more a medium deep to deep skin tone. Setting spray also helps blend the powder into your skin more

Kendra Smith you definitely should I would suggest first trying it out & taking a picture beforehand if there's flash photography, and like I mentioned setting sprays help really melt the products onto your skin

You will probably never see this, but I have the touch in sol pigments, and I emptied it into an empty NYX pigment pot and it's much easier to use and you don't waste product❤️❤️ love your videos you have such an awesome personality 😘😘😘

I love the Urban Decay lip toppers! I have the white one with blue glitter and the pink one with green glitter. I use the applicator to apply it but then I use my finger to tap it out and that evened it out greatly! I also love that they make whatever lipstick you wear under it waterproof and will make any of my lipsticks last longer as the glitter will wear off way before the actual lip color does

My friend did it and it works reeeaaly well! I couldn't even tell it was baby powder it was just the teeniest bit patchy is her dry spots barely noticeable. Everyone's skin is different though; you should try it!

It would get really oily on my t-zone and then CLING to every single little dry patch that I had. And it meshed weird with concealers for me. So it was a huge no.

In the past year or so they have been acquired b6 L’Oréal. When that happens quality typically goes down as a means to manufacture more for less cost, basically it’s going to shit.
I find that with the Milk makeup eyeshadows it helps to set with a light layer of translucent powder just like dusting it because it still is a liquid formula and they send to crease especially since I have hooded eyes. Sometimes I even set the eyeshadow with a matching glitter to make it pop a bit more and it seems to work seamlessly

Madison Victoria I never have flashback with it. And the ingredient that causes flashback is usually silica. The dernablend one is literally just talc if you look at the ingredients so I'm not sure how she is getting flashback with it...oh well, like she said everyone is different I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I feel like the sigma cream shadow is definitely meant as a softer highlighter! By the swatch on your hand it looked like it gave that "glow from within" look! You should try that!

I don't remember the specifics, but from what I do remember and what I gathered from it, she considers her ring very special, personal, and I guess almost sacred to her, so she doesn't like to wear it all the time...or in videos in particularly. 2:20 This concealer I also noticed was super wet and didn't set well but it is great for nose and check highlight before your shimmer highlight 'this beautiful and makes highlighter more pigmented but for under eye concealing it's not great

Aimee Winstanley i used the nyx HD powder i think it was, on top of my primer before my foundation (was testing to see if it would prevent me from getting oily) and even after foundation and powder foundation you could still see flashback 😅 i think it must depend on the powder

I agree on those PUR sponges! Girl I literally beat my face with those things that's how hard they are. I was excited to get them in my boxy charm because I needed more but I have a hard time blending with those things!

Your hair looks really pretty
I find that with the Milk makeup eyeshadows it helps to set with a light layer of translucent powder just like dusting it because it still is a liquid formula and they send to crease especially since I have hooded eyes. Sometimes I even set the eyeshadow with a matching glitter to make it pop a bit more and it seems to work seamlessly

Madison Victoria I never have flashback with it. And the ingredient that causes flashback is usually silica. The dernablend one is literally just talc if you look at the ingredients so I'm not sure how she is getting flashback with it...oh well, like she said everyone is different I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I feel like the sigma cream shadow is definitely meant as a softer highlighter! By the swatch on your hand it looked like it gave that "glow from within" look! You should try that!

Sarah Graves she's talked about this awhile back. She doesn't typically wear it in videos. I don't remember the specifics, but from what I do remember and what I gathered from it, she considers her ring very special, personal, and I guess almost sacred to her, so she doesn't like to wear it all the time...or in videos in particularly. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what she said.

you need to try and put a coloured foundation powder over the top then you don't get the flashback you can thank patrickstarrr for that tip

Aimee Winstanley i used the nyx HD powder i think it was, on top of my primer before my foundation (was testing to see if it would prevent me from getting oily) and even after foundation and powder foundation you could still see flashback 😅 i think it must depend on the powder
