    This tutorial should suit most skill levels, as long as you are familiar with the basic knots used in macrame (especially square knots and hitch knots).
    For absolute beginners, please practice the basic macrame knots before attempting this pattern to avoid frustration/disappointment.

    This pattern is amazing. I have a little difficulties following along with the conversion of dimensions to metric unit.
    So does 0,25ft equals 7,62cm? What does this number mean in relation to the 1,5 / 2ft cord that you mention? Which converts to 45,72cm/ 60,96cm.
    Thank you so much!

      Thank you! I think it's about 30cm of cord for every 2cm of bracelet.

    This is so confusing!!! I don't mind the conversion, but I can't figure out what you are saying for the second long cord. Can't you give the general measurements of each cord length? That would help tremendously!

    • @objeXionable
      @objeXionable  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My average is 1 foot for every inch of bracelet. But this one is halved because the bracelet is made in two parts but then it also needs extra because of the loop! Sorry. Usually if I'm not sure I overestimate just in case. But unfortunately that can end up wasting cord. The accurate measurements depend on the size of the wrist it's being made for, which is why I can't give give a standard amount to use 😔

      Thank you! I used 1mm nylon macrame cord for this bracelet, but you could use different ones if you preferred..

    • @objeXionable
      @objeXionable  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@gingerale7725 you would probably need more holding threads in the centre but you could work with embroidery thread if you preferred, yes. I'd recommend braiding some for the holding cords and then knotting a working thread over those.

    What excess thread are you talking about? I’m sitting here with my thread and I’m confused 🙈

    • @objeXionable
      @objeXionable  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean at the end? For tie on ends there will be excess to braid at the end.

      The cord lengths depend on the size you're making.
      The measurements are at 0:11

      @@misa3769 Everybody I know does. There is no equivalent in any other measuring system to feet afaik(?) but if there is I can Google a formula for those measurements instead if you'd prefer.

      The cord measurements vary depend on the size of the wrist the bracelet will be for. It's about a quarter of a foot for every inch of bracelet, plus 1.5-2 foot for the loops.
