  • As students head back to class, school districts across Central Florida are preparing for a new law aimed at keeping children safe. For the first time, school bus cameras can be used to catch and fine drivers illegally passing them. This is part of a bill Governor Ron DeSantis signed earlier this summer.

The funding solution is easy: increase the fine to an amount that hurts and send the proceeds to the school district whose bus stop was illegally violated. To deter wealthy people from violating the stop, adjust the fine to a small percentage of their annual income, increasing the percentage with each additional violation in a 12-month period.

Car drivers would soon stop passing school buses if one of their children got kilked by one of the stupid car driver.

The laws a little different here in Missouri it was a four-lane street you can pass the school bus because the kids are not supposed to cross a four-lane street decide that they get off on is decide that they got to stay on

This is NOT an excuse but the reason that some driver's think that driving is a RIGHT and not a PRIVILEGE that needs to be earned. Driving is a great responsibility and driver's education should be required before getting a license but it isn't. You'd be amazed at how mand driver's on the road don't have a license or the ability to read English for that matter.
