I did my necklace yesterday, and i LOVE the result! I got the chunky necklace from my boyfriend LOL and i bought the long chains from ebay. The long chains are more thinner than yours, so i put 3 chain on each jumper ring. I'm so happy with the necklace, it looks so expensive, and for me all the supplies costed the bargain of 4 dollars :D

Although they are far in past the grip of the pliers so i wouldn't cut the bigger chain just small chain and wires. Maybe they are only meant to be wire cutters.
