What a wonderful Easter celebration with so many good friends and family! It is so cute and you explain everything that you’re doing and futre plans so well. Love the little pond that will greet visitors as they enter and how the chateau sits at the top. What a wonderful Easter egg hunt you prepared for your guests. The one for the kids was so special with those sweet little bunnies and the signs to help them find the eggs. Really creative! How lively to have friends and family ther for easter and I'm glad the 'real' children had a good easter egg hunt 🤣🤣🤣....the property looks so different by the railings now it's all cleared and that pond will soon fill up and you will have lots of wildlife drinking from it before you know it....
I love this style of Easter Egg hunt! When I was growing up, the chocolate eggs were for the Easter baskets, and we hid the real eggs we’d dyed the day before. Always in the house, until we didn’t realize that we’d missed one at my grandparents’ house… ‘till Gramma found it when she broke it moving the sofa to clean behind it. 🤦♀️😬🤣 She insisted we move the egg hunt outside after that, despite the risk of scorpions (in Phoenix Arizona), and the fact that it was so warm the eggs would have to be thrown away. 😉 But we still had fun hiding and re-hiding the eggs until they all fell apart. 😁

You definitely need to do a drone flight from the new entrance, following the new drive up to the chateau. That would give us all a clear idea of how it looks, and the huge amount of work you've all put into it! 🥰
The new Driveway looks great and the trees planted will create a very attractive avenue in a few years once they start to establish. You should consider adding some specimen trees - you will notice in old large estates and high end chateaus they had/have Redwood and Cedar of the Lebanon Trees - they are a signature stand out tree once established. If you decide to plant some of these, be sure to plant well apart (min 40-50 feet away from anything else).
Bonjour! I absolutely love watching your family journey through the restoration of this beautiful château. You are all so courageous and inspiring! I have only recently discovered your vlog and I am amazed at the support and enthusiasm you’ve gathered. This is why I would like to share a suggestion of my own that I feel would possibly help you once you start receiving guests. The N12 seems a little bit noisy even when you are close to the château, maybe it is worse with the videos, but we can see trucks passing through quite regularly. So my suggestion would be to change the portion of the fence in front of the N12 with a nice stone wall that would cut the noise significantly. In the video, you showed the original gate. It could be integrated in the wall. Obviously this would not be a top priority and clearly not a “just job” 😂 As a French born who now lives in Canada, I cannot tell you how thrilled I am about your adventure and wish you all the best. 😊 I hope you will get this message even if it pertains to an old video. Take care and keep up the good work. You are such an incredible family! 💫
The chateau looks absolutely amazing and having friends and family over to help has added a joy into your step. Reminds me of previous hunts with siblings the youngins got a 5 to 10 start bebfore the next group.

A Bluebell wood! In Scotland we call the Bluebell, Harebell, and believe that the Bluebell Wood is a place of fairy magic and enchantment . Perfect place for an Easter egg hunt. Just be wary of picking the Bluebell!
