Our church's intentional Christian grandparenting class watched your video for part of our last class to glean ideas for using Advent and Christmas as opportunity to "live Jesus" in front of our adult children, grandchildren, and for some of us, even grandchildren. Your ideas are simple, creative, and beautiful! We especially appreciate your Barbie doll visuals as a reminder and encouragement to love ALL those at our "table" with the love of Jesus. That spoke to, I'm pretty sure, every single grandparent in our class, including the grandpas. Your vulnerability opened hearts to share deeper things with each other and encourage pray together for each other and our families. My husband. a list person, LOVES and has determined that we will incorporate your practice of review and fine-tuning for next year -- there's a LOT of room for improvement -- so that we can ourselves, better honor Jesus during this time of year. Thank you, thank you, Thani you to you, your daughter, for ministering in this way!! I was so blessed and teary-eyed to read your kind words. It made me renew my own commitment to live Jesus to a lost and dying world. I'll pray for your class as they reach out and present the love of the Lord to their families this Christmas. God bless your sweet class. This is the first video that I watched of yours. I watched it before Christmas and boy did it hit my heart hard and got me thinking. I shared it out with all my family. It helped change my mindset on things, and I used your tips, and did indeed make this past Christmas a Christ Centered Christmas. It was the first time Christmas didn't feel icky, and my husband didn't complain. We all enjoyed it so much, and will forever celebrate Christmas this way. Thank you Mrs. Joan:)

Oh my goodness Ms. Joan you have such wisdom to share! I wish you were at my church in PA so we could become friends! How kind of you to take the time to share all of this to people you don’t even know out in YT land! You have helped me so so much as I approach this Christmas season! I looked on YT for inspiration on how to keep Jesus at the center and no matter how busy it gets, I must make time for Him before everything else!! I already made myself an advent wreath and can’t wait to light it up on Dec. 1st. ALL of your tips are excellent! I also set out to read John starting on Dec. 1st…a sweet blessing that God had for me this past Sunday was that the pastoral team selected a book for everyone to take for free. The book title is The One True Light by Tim Chester which is the book of John to take you through the Christmas season! I was so surprised. My eyes lit up so bright! Thank you, thank you again for sharing all of your tips! God bless you ❤
