I remember the mid 90’s and crewing a Blackhawk off of South Korea landing on a supply ship to pick up some two star. It wasn’t half as rough as that and it was a nightmare. One of the hardest touch downs I remember in my time in.

They don't show you the helicopter dropping the cable down and attaching to the boat and using the cable to Bing it to the deck. And you can't see it in the video unless you look for it.

tHE HEICOPTER pilot was good but after running a crane on offshore platforms for years (retired now) it wasnt as unrealistic as it looked to land on that boat with the waves that bad considering every like 3rd wave the next wave lays down a good bit.

Use a tarp with ropes in the eyelets at one end. It's easier to remove when pulling the ropes and won't tear as easily as plastic. Careful with car spoilers and antennas.

I'm so excited I actually created one of these life hacks myself. I'm an old gal and I live on my own so when it snows it's a nightmare. I started covering the hood and the windshield of my car with a sheet and holding it down with four bricks so when it snows I just have to pull the sheet . I also back my car all the way to the very end of the driveway so I'm touching the sidewalk when it starts to snow that way I don't have any driveway to shovel to get out. The city shovels the sidewalk. Before I thought of this I would park my car 2 houses down at a Kal Tire. They always have cars in their lot 24/7 and shovel every a.m. problem you can't pull off the sheet trick.😊
