Its because he doesn't take it too seriously, and doesn't have any agenda to push. It allows him to speak freely and honestly. And to me, he is the glue of the show. Without him it would be unwatchable.
Brou had a better lineup. Starting a 6'11 off ball 3 level scorer at the 4 is just common sense. Tatum can easily guard sgs and Steph is checking the opposing pg. Bron is basically magic Johnson on this squad surrounded by elite scoring.

Tatum can guard SGs but easily is a stretch. A prolific scoring guard is gonna give them problems with Brou’s lineup
@TheOneKeyToLife Prolific scoring guards will give anybody problems. Ant is a solid defender but idk that he's much better than 6'8 jayson tatum. We saw him struggle against Kyrie/Luka defensively at times. Defense at this stage is largely team concept/effort. One advantage USA has over opposing perimeter players is size and length. If I have the opportunity to surround steph curry with 4 guys who are 6'8 and above, I'm absolutely doing that. Ant is not a good offball scorer and not a great catch and shoot 3pt shooter yet. He makes more sense coming off the bench similar to what Dwade did for the 2008 team. The offense makes sense with Bron being the primary decision maker with elite shooting and length around him.

This is not new , Hakeem Olajuwon played for team USA in ‘96 Olympics to win gold. Embiid moved to the states at age 16, he’s 30 that’s almost half his life USA is his home country at this point.

This is probably the first time I’ve seen Brou make a “you’re clearly not an athlete” take. I haven’t played with my high school squad in ten years, and I know for a fact that if we came together and did an open rec run, we’d sweep because even though years have passed, I still know how they like to play and their strengths and weaknesses which is an inherent advantage over building a team with a bunch of talented dudes who’ve never played together competitively
