the Ravens were 8-3 and the 1 seed at that point in that 2022 year when they had like 20 guys on IR, just a carry job every week by Lamar before he got hurt. I get it doesn't look the same so it's harder to judge but outside of Patrick Mahomes, he is probably the best floor raiser in the sport.

When Burrows made it further than the ravens, it was usually when lamar was hurt. Go do the research. When lamar is healthy, he takes the 1st spot in the division, and Lamar plays in one of the toughest divisions.
I love how Joe Burrow gets to throw to Chase and Higgins, and isn't asked to lead his team in rushing, but is propped up over a lost Super Bowl about three years ago, while Lamar spent four years in the Greg Roman passing scheme that now has Justin Herbert slamming his helmet, often with bottom 5 WR groups, and that's held against him way more in these discussions.
To be fair, QBs job shouldn't be to run. Burrow isn't asked to do that because his elite skill set is throwing the ball. Lamar isn't really elite at the skills pertaining to throwing the ball (processing, progression, accuracy, etc).

I'm glad I kept scrolling because I was gonna say this same thing. If they get Adams, and they have to pass having, Davante makes them dangerous. Run game just has to be somewhat productive, and the play action gets scary. If they are losing he can give them a real chance to pass and comeback. He can be a decoy, and they just ran a ton of decoy plays so they know how to do it. Even if he won't admit it subconsciously he's watching, and nervous.
