In my opinion, the best way to secure your game is to know how to cheat it. I first learned game hacking (lightly) before I knew game development. What I learned from game hacking has made me constantly think about *is what I'm doing exploitable*. There are always things that cannot be prevented from exploitation, but they can be setup in such a way to where
A: its more difficult to make the cheat
or
B: not much of an advantage for the end user
In this video we use cheat engine in order to find the necessary addresses and offsets in order to draw our ESP.

Most of the time if someones glossing over something its because they dont know why or how their doing it, they just memorize some steps and go

So the problem there is each engine will be different. There is even a difference in finding the entity list for zombies and multiplayer in World at War to where you cannot go the same route and find what you need. I know Guided Hacking has some of the best tutorials out there for game hacking, have you checked them out? I know they do Assault Cube.

For modern games, do you need to have your solution set up to x64?

Does not, x64 bit projects can handle 32 and 64 bit addresses, 32 bit projects can only handle 32 bit addresses. If the game is 64 bit, make sure your compiling for it.

@@fakemail8713 most games health values is 4 bytes u can search between u can start scan with value between... example: 100 to 1000 then
when u get hit you can search decrease value :)
