As a game developer in the US, seeing how you guys take care of each other and don't treat your employers like a number almost brought me to tears. Making games is already hard, and to see what you've had to overcome is inspiring. I can't wait to play this game. I'll be telling every gamer I know to buy it and support you. My father played Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl when I was little, and he still loves this game the most. I gifted a good computer to him recently, and installed Witcher 3, GTA 5 and some other games, but he didn't want to play them, he said "Please just install an old Stalker game for me, and I'll play it". He plays it now, and I already gifted him Stalker 2 so he can play as soon as it releases. GSC, you are loved, you are supported and you fanbase appreciates your efforts all these years! Stay safe! We will be patiently waiting for Stalker 2!

When other games were released, we had no money to buy a new computer that would fit the requirements, and he had no time to play it anyway, busy with work and too tired after his shift. Now he has more free time, and I'm just happy that I was able to provide him this opportunity to enjoy a new Stalker with great graphics, new stories and fully ukrainian voiceover.

Dear GSC, I grew up playing the STALKER games, they are the strongest core memory I have when it comes to gaming, they have helped me through countless hardships in life, losses of family and friends, etc. And through it all, I always wondered about the zone, about Chornobyl and the disaster, it's always been this kind of otherwordly escape I had growing up, I've always wanted to visit myself just to experience it, see what it's like and be able to say I've been there, I've seen the ghost city, I've stood on that same iradiated ground and explored those darkened buildings frozen in time. After watching this...I have nothing but respect, admiration and appreciation for each and every one of you, for everything you have done. And not just as game developers, but as Ukranian people for what you had to endure, my heart has bled for you from afar, I've watched the war unfold and felt my heart break inside with each and every video. Seeing this documentary gave me soo much more insight and understanding to the delays, even though I knew they were enduring a war, there are soo many people that may not understand that. Ievgen and Mariia, wow, I mean, have you ever seen people that hold that level of compassion, busses parked outside of the office everyday as a Plan B, with an escape route to possibly the smartest place you could go, right to NATOs border...absolutely, bloody, brilliant. Seeing people that care for their team and employees like that...that's some good shit right there, thanks for restoring my faith in humanity, and game development for that matter. And the rest of the incredible team, from developers that moved their lives to the border and beyond to protect the project, to those that stayed to defend their homeland and their lives, you should all be proud of yourselves, and anyone that felt guilty for leaving, please don't be so harsh with yourselves, your lives and the lives of your family and loved ones are important, and there is absolutely no shame in having to have left Ukraine for that purpose. Thank you all, for your extreme dedication, for your perserverance, and for the obvious love and care you put into this game, I know I cannot wait to experience the labour of love that is STALKER 2. Thank you STALKERS, I hope the zone repays you in kind.

Багато був де в Зоні, був там неодноразово на ротаціях, з Прип'яті маю згадки, зафільмовані на телефон. Ніколи не думав, що доведеться опинитися зі зброєю в руках в Зоні, перебуваючи там згадував гру Stalker. Уявіть собі, в нас був бойлер в зруйнованій хатинці та унітаз - привіт оркам. До чого ж я? Все, що я бачив там та маю фото-спогади, в кадрах Stalker 2 дуже збігається. Розробники красавчики, дуже детально підійшли до зображення зони відчудження у своїй грі. П.С. Зустріли лося, який спав під одним з будинків в Прип'яті - він не знав, що таке "людина". Він підвівся й просто стояв та роздивлявся нас, а ми його. А вовки...здорові як сенбернари, нічого та нікого там не бояться, навіть пострілів. Дякую GSC за ваш вклад в світову українізацію!
I met some of the GSC devs at Gamescom and I have to say, they were some of the mosy friendly, polite and interesting people I have ever met. I also have experience of Ukranian people where I work. And they are exactly the same, such nice people, considering the issues they have faced. I hope Stalker 2 is a critical and financial success. I am so looking foeward to it
When S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was still in the alpha version, I played it at GamesCon in Leipzig in 2006. Two friends and I had to wait in line for almost two hours to play on one of the few computers at the GSC developer booth because there were so many people there who also wanted to play it. I was overwhelmed and immediately in love! I'm not hyped, but I'm really looking forward to the second part!
I never pre-order games because the industry can't be trusted to release a finished product today, but I did pre-order this one because I know that even if it launches with some issues, it will be something made by passioniate, strong people who have endured Hell on Earth in order to create something that they love and are proud of. I preordered only three games throught the years - one was point and click adventure, because I love those, second was KCD 1 and third is Stalker 2! In all the cases, I wanted to support the devs because I knew the game will be amazing. I am so thankfully that after so many years and hardships, Stalker 2 is coming out. I was so sad back then when it got cancelled in 2012
As we say in the UK, "Hats off" to all of you for showing such resilience in the face of such obviosity. I still play S.T.A.L.K.E.R today, all be it in modded form but still love the escapism it brings and the adrenaline of the moment the Zone can throw at you. I can't wait to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2! Big respect from the UK and I hope you return to your beloved country sooner rather than later.

One of my distant relatives were also drafted as a liquidator from Latvia. He wasn't among the first on scene, so survived ok but died around age of 40 some 10 years later. I don't know much, but rumor has that it was from cancer. His sister had blood cancer too, though she never went there. We had Children of Chernobyl charity holyday trips to my city (Jūrmala). Since i left the country 20y ago and returned only some years ago, can't find anything online about it anymore.

Got my first job in order to afford to build a PC to play the original STALKER when it first released. Watching this was absolutely heart wrenching and makes it feel like I now have a moral obligation to support GSC now. Hopefully this can all be over soon and Ukraine can know peace again. Hello GSC! Watching this Documentary made me really emotional... working myself in the gaming industry, i already know a lot of the hurdles of making a game... but what your team and country is going through, is incomparable. The strength of your people is admirable and seeing the efforts your team is putting in despite all of it... is just mind blowing. I played Stalker SOC back in... 2008? When i was 18, when i got my first good gaming pc and did not like it. It felt different, janky and was different from the games i played at the time like Battlefield, COD. But i then decided to play again with a fresh mind a couple of months after and the game literally shaped me as a person and how i see and play games today. I was usually looking for the typical, graphics, flashy stuff and "in your face" experiences like COD, but after playing Shadow Of Chorbobyl for the second time, i realized what an immersive experience can be. A game can be something different than a movie, it can be a second life where you immerse yourself around the characters and the actions you take. It opened my eyes to different experiences. The atmosphere of the game and its Post Soviet apocalypse made me fall in love, i played so much, roleplayed during my game sessions, made multiple playthroughs siding with all the factions. The music, the map and its little details... no other games could replicate this and even today, there's not much like it. Rarely does a game let me just stash all my gear in a random box to decide "This is my HQ now" like i do in Stalker and every adventure outside in the zone, is a fight to come back alive to my safe box and eat a sausage, drink a Stalker Energy Drink. I wish your team and your people a safe peaceful future, and for Stalker 2, i wish a great release! I'll be there on day one and will take a week off of work just for it. Thanks for everything, thanks for the memories, thanks for the inspiration. My first tattoo is Marked One's "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." on the arm and i wear it proudly!
I watched my father play this game when I was a kid. I fell in love with the zone, the disaster and the country Ukraine over the years, I was in Ukraine 3 times and will go visit the real zone after victory. Slava Ukraini❤

Дивно: вже третій рік слухаю сирени та звуки роботи ППО, однак навіть запис першої сирени у фільмі все ще йде страшним відлунням у моєму серці, кидаючи мене у холодний піт, нагадуючи що мені та моїй сім'ї довелося пережити.
Ще дивніше, коли чуєш в житті, то вже якось не так накриває холодом. Але раптом та ж сама сирена десь у відео, мороз по шкірі... Поплавило мізки серйозно вже =(
нажаль це той досвід який закарбується в нашому житті до кеінця наших днів, але ще страшніше це те що наші діти, що народилися, що ростуть в цей період, а тим паче зовсім малі, це все сприймають вже зараз. Дуже важко чути слова від чотирьох річного сина, коли той чує тривогу, слова: "Папа, ракета?", а ти читаєш в цей момент в пабліках що летить в твоє місто Іскандер-М, і говориш йому що все добре і обіймаєш його, і сам віриш в те що наші ЗРВ це Боги що за допомогою Петріота та САМП/Т зіб'ють її.

Після поранення, яке доречі було через ракету х31п (чи аналог), почав звертати увагу на все це (так це не нормально, але в такі часи живемо). I remember my first acquaintance with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe, I was about 6-7 years old, my father gave me 10 hryvnias to sit with my brother in a game club. Then I sat down and chose which game to play from a variety of options, and that's when I found it. At that time, I didn't know what S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was, I thought it was just a cool game where I walked in some swampy location and shot monsters. At that time, I really enjoyed just being there, I felt that now I was going there and experiencing those moments that my character was experiencing. I always belived that art is a form of resistance, and is the only true way to fight the darkness in our hearts, but after seeing this, i am speechless, in tears and wandering why?...why if we are so cappable to create such overwhelming art that enhances the very essence of our souls...why are we doing this to each other? Dear GSC. I am so terribly sorry for your situation and your many losses. What you and your poor countrymen have gone through these past years is horrifying. I follow the news closely every day and keep dreaming of waking up to the news of a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia or that that monster, Putin, has been overthrown by his own people. Such a day has not come yet but I am sure it will some day soon. I was born in 1986, the year of that horrendous accident at Chornobyl. My parents feared the fallout from the CNPP but, fortunately, it never reached us in Denmark where I'm from. Today we too feel the need to prepare for war and our government even asks us to do so. I've assembled a "when the shit hits the fan" backpack which feels so very weird and wrong. But I'd rather be prepared than helpless. And so, I have been familiar with Chornobyl and Ukraine since I was a small child. In 2007 when I was 20 years old I heard about a new, strange but cool game called STALKER: Shadow of Chornobyl. I was intrigued and bought it. I was hooked. Completely. I couldn't turn away from my computer. It was such a weird and wonderful world that GSC had created. And so foreign and scary...! I was an instant fan and also bought Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat when they came out. I remember putting on head phones and playing Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" while fighting hordes of zombified stalkers in Yantar. So fucking awesome! Today I play Anomaly GAMMA which I really dig and I'm so hyped for STALKER 2...!! I'm pre-ordering regardless. I don't even care if the game is any good (but of course it will be!). You guys deserve it. Your documentary is heart breaking, awe inspiring, powerful and full of hope! I could write so much more but I have to stop to digest what I just saw. EA would've canceled this game immediately. Modern triple AAA companies like EA Games don't GAF about anything but money. These guys have passion. I don't see any reason why this game wouldn't blow up... I just hope they include mod support as they promised. Otherwise this game won't last as long as it could. SDK Kit would be MASSSSIVE!!!

I can't even begin to describe how inspiring everyone that works for GSC is. I knew they were going through it based on reports as this invasion unfolded, but I had no idea the lengths that they went to in order to keep their people safe. I'm not even talking about FINISHING THIS GAME. I've been a proponent of not preordering titles lately, especially Ultimate editions, but this will be the exception. I wish these guys nothing but success and peace in their lives.
I'm watching this video and I'm crying. Having met the beginning of everything at zero, everything is hammered out in a different way, and thoughts are completely different, about the protection and preservation of my relatives, children, and family. Watching this video is like reliving it all again, but already as a civilian, as if you are at an arm's length away from you. You experience all these emotions.
No matter what state this releases in, the fact that it will be to begin with is a testament to the talent and determination of the individuals behind it, very excited for thus
And if anything, what this entire project embodies is cooperation and the will to create something wonderful together. That will without a doubt continue to happen when the community gets their hands on the game, with plentiful mods, videos and stories.

This was so emotional, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is my most anticipated game and we know how difficult is to create and release a game in such conditions. Every time when I see Ievhen, I recall the story of his older brother Serhiy Grigorovych (who actually is the original founder of GSC) about how, being a child, Serhiy put his little brother Ievhen on the ice and let him go for free float along the Dnipro river. Luckily that little boy survived

Ukraine hails glory to their heroes, Russia hails glory to their heroes and they both try to decimata each other because of hate. U.S wants control, Russia wants control and Ukraine is in the middle while innocents die. We did atrocities in ww2 because of hate as a weapon used for control and power and we are doing it again. There is in fact, no Glory in all of this for humans as a species.
As a game developer in the US, seeing how you guys take care of each other and don't treat your employers like a number almost brought me to tears. Making games is already hard, and to see what you've had to overcome is inspiring. I can't wait to play this game. I'll be telling every gamer I know to buy it and support you. My father played Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl when I was little, and he still loves this game the most. I gifted a good computer to him recently, and installed Witcher 3, GTA 5 and some other games, but he didn't want to play them, he said "Please just install an old Stalker game for me, and I'll play it". He plays it now, and I already gifted him Stalker 2 so he can play as soon as it releases. GSC, you are loved, you are supported and you fanbase appreciates your efforts all these years! Stay safe! We will be patiently waiting for Stalker 2!

When other games were released, we had no money to buy a new computer that would fit the requirements, and he had no time to play it anyway, busy with work and too tired after his shift. Now he has more free time, and I'm just happy that I was able to provide him this opportunity to enjoy a new Stalker with great graphics, new stories and fully ukrainian voiceover.

I grew up playing the STALKER games, they are the strongest core memory I have when it comes to gaming, they have helped me through countless hardships in life, losses of family and friends, etc. And through it all, I always wondered about the zone, about Chornobyl and the disaster, it's always been this kind of otherwordly escape I had growing up, I've always wanted to visit myself just to experience it, see what it's like and be able to say I've been there, I've seen the ghost city, I've stood on that same iradiated ground and explored those darkened buildings frozen in time.
After watching this...I have nothing but respect, admiration and appreciation for each and every one of you, for everything you have done. And not just as game developers, but as Ukranian people for what you had to endure, my heart has bled for you from afar, I've watched the war unfold and felt my heart break inside with each and every video. Seeing this documentary gave me soo much more insight and understanding to the delays, even though I knew they were enduring a war, there are soo many people that may not understand that.
Ievgen and Mariia, wow, I mean, have you ever seen people that hold that level of compassion, busses parked outside of the office everyday as a Plan B, with an escape route to possibly the smartest place you could go, right to NATOs border...absolutely, bloody, brilliant. Seeing people that care for their team and employees like that...that's some good shit right there, thanks for restoring my faith in humanity, and game development for that matter.
And the rest of the incredible team, from developers that moved their lives to the border and beyond to protect the project, to those that stayed to defend their homeland and their lives, you should all be proud of yourselves, and anyone that felt guilty for leaving, please don't be so harsh with yourselves, your lives and the lives of your family and loved ones are important, and there is absolutely no shame in having to have left Ukraine for that purpose.
Thank you all, for your extreme dedication, for your perserverance, and for the obvious love and care you put into this game, I know I cannot wait to experience the labour of love that is STALKER 2.

Багато був де в Зоні, був там неодноразово на ротаціях, з Прип'яті маю згадки, зафільмовані на телефон. Ніколи не думав, що доведеться опинитися зі зброєю в руках в Зоні, перебуваючи там згадував гру Stalker. Уявіть собі, в нас був бойлер в зруйнованій хатинці та унітаз - привіт оркам. До чого ж я? Все, що я бачив там та маю фото-спогади, в кадрах Stalker 2 дуже збігається. Розробники красавчики, дуже детально підійшли до зображення зони відчудження у своїй грі. П.С. Зустріли лося, який спав під одним з будинків в Прип'яті - він не знав, що таке "людина". Він підвівся й просто стояв та роздивлявся нас, а ми його. А вовки...здорові як сенбернари, нічого та нікого там не бояться, навіть пострілів. Дякую GSC за ваш вклад в світову українізацію!
I met some of the GSC devs at Gamescom and I have to say, they were some of the mosy friendly, polite and interesting people I have ever met. I also have experience of Ukranian people where I work. And they are exactly the same, such nice people, considering the issues they have faced. I hope Stalker 2 is a critical and financial success. I am so looking foeward to it
When S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was still in the alpha version, I played it at GamesCon in Leipzig in 2006. Two friends and I had to wait in line for almost two hours to play on one of the few computers at the GSC developer booth because there were so many people there who also wanted to play it. I was overwhelmed and immediately in love! I'm not hyped, but I'm really looking forward to the second part!
I never pre-order games because the industry can't be trusted to release a finished product today, but I did pre-order this one because I know that even if it launches with some issues, it will be something made by passioniate, strong people who have endured Hell on Earth in order to create something that they love and are proud of. To see a company that truly cares so much about it's people is inspiring. Slava Ukraini from Canada!

I preordered only three games throught the years - one was point and click adventure, because I love those, second was KCD 1 and third is Stalker 2!
In all the cases, I wanted to support the devs because I knew the game will be amazing.
I am so thankfully that after so many years and hardships, Stalker 2 is coming out. I was so sad back then when it got cancelled in 2012

As we say in the UK, "Hats off" to all of you for showing such resilience in the face of such obviosity. I still play S.T.A.L.K.E.R today, all be it in modded form but still love the escapism it brings and the adrenaline of the moment the Zone can throw at you.

One of my distant relatives were also drafted as a liquidator from Latvia. He wasn't among the first on scene, so survived ok but died around age of 40 some 10 years later. I don't know much, but rumor has that it was from cancer. His sister had blood cancer too, though she never went there. We had Children of Chernobyl charity holyday trips to my city (Jūrmala). Since i left the country 20y ago and returned only some years ago, can't find anything online about it anymore.

Watching this Documentary made me really emotional... working myself in the gaming industry, i already know a lot of the hurdles of making a game... but what your team and country is going through, is incomparable. The strength of your people is admirable and seeing the efforts your team is putting in despite all of it... is just mind blowing.
I played Stalker SOC back in... 2008? When i was 18, when i got my first good gaming pc and did not like it. It felt different, janky and was different from the games i played at the time like Battlefield, COD. But i then decided to play again with a fresh mind a couple of months after and the game literally shaped me as a person and how i see and play games today. I was usually looking for the typical, graphics, flashy stuff and "in your face" experiences like COD, but after playing Shadow Of Chorbobyl for the second time, i realized what an immersive experience can be. A game can be something different than a movie, it can be a second life where you immerse yourself around the characters and the actions you take. It opened my eyes to different experiences. The atmosphere of the game and its Post Soviet apocalypse made me fall in love, i played so much, roleplayed during my game sessions, made multiple playthroughs siding with all the factions. The music, the map and its little details... no other games could replicate this and even today, there's not much like it. Rarely does a game let me just stash all my gear in a random box to decide "This is my HQ now" like i do in Stalker and every adventure outside in the zone, is a fight to come back alive to my safe box and eat a sausage, drink a Stalker Energy Drink.
I wish your team and your people a safe peaceful future, and for Stalker 2, i wish a great release! I'll be there on day one and will take a week off of work just for it.

Дивно: вже третій рік слухаю сирени та звуки роботи ППО, однак навіть запис першої сирени у фільмі все ще йде страшним відлунням у моєму серці, кидаючи мене у холодний піт, нагадуючи що мені та моїй сім'ї довелося пережити.
Ще дивніше, коли чуєш в житті, то вже якось не так накриває холодом. Але раптом та ж сама сирена десь у відео, мороз по шкірі... Поплавило мізки серйозно вже =(
нажаль це той досвід який закарбується в нашому житті до кеінця наших днів, але ще страшніше це те що наші діти, що народилися, що ростуть в цей період, а тим паче зовсім малі, це все сприймають вже зараз. Дуже важко чути слова від чотирьох річного сина, коли той чує тривогу, слова: "Папа, ракета?", а ти читаєш в цей момент в пабліках що летить в твоє місто Іскандер-М, і говориш йому що все добре і обіймаєш його, і сам віриш в те що наші ЗРВ це Боги що за допомогою Петріота та САМП/Т зіб'ють її.
Знаешь, а я как-то и не боялся серен и взрывов, будто сознание отключило страх, чтобы психика не пострадала, хотя и не знаю к лучшему ли это

Після поранення, яке доречі було через ракету х31п (чи аналог), почав звертати увагу на все це (так це не нормально, але в такі часи живемо). Зараз значно складніше тим хто приїжджає з нуля на ротацію, а у них птср, вони навіть в метро проїхатись не можуть

Then I sat down and chose which game to play from a variety of options, and that's when I found it. I follow the news closely every day and keep dreaming of waking up to the news of a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia or that that monster, Putin, has been overthrown by his own people. Such a day has not come yet but I am sure it will some day soon.
I was born in 1986, the year of that horrendous accident at Chornobyl. My parents feared the fallout from the CNPP but, fortunately, it never reached us in Denmark where I'm from. Today we too feel the need to prepare for war and our government even asks us to do so. I've assembled a "when the shit hits the fan" backpack which feels so very weird and wrong. But I'd rather be prepared than helpless.
And so, I have been familiar with Chornobyl and Ukraine since I was a small child. In 2007 when I was 20 years old I heard about a new, strange but cool game called STALKER: Shadow of Chornobyl. I was intrigued and bought it. I was hooked. Completely. I couldn't turn away from my computer. It was such a weird and wonderful world that GSC had created. And so foreign and scary...! I was an instant fan and also bought Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat when they came out. I remember putting on head phones and playing Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" while fighting hordes of zombified stalkers in Yantar. So fucking awesome!
Today I play Anomaly GAMMA which I really dig and I'm so hyped for STALKER 2...!! I'm pre-ordering regardless. I don't even care if the game is any good (but of course it will be!). You guys deserve it. Your documentary is heart breaking, awe inspiring, powerful and full of hope! I could write so much more but I have to stop to digest what I just saw.

I can't even begin to describe how inspiring everyone that works for GSC is. I knew they were going through it based on reports as this invasion unfolded, but I had no idea the lengths that they went to in order to keep their people safe. I'm not even talking about FINISHING THIS GAME. I've been a proponent of not preordering titles lately, especially Ultimate editions, but this will be the exception. I wish these guys nothing but success and peace in their lives.

Having met the beginning of everything at zero, everything is hammered out in a different way, and thoughts are completely different, about the protection and preservation of my relatives, children, and family. Watching this video is like reliving it all again, but already as a civilian, as if you are at an arm's length away from you. You experience all these emotions.

Every time when I see Ievhen, I recall the story of his older brother Serhiy Grigorovych (who actually is the original founder of GSC) about how, being a child, Serhiy put his little brother Ievhen on the ice and let him go for free float along the Dnipro river. Luckily that little boy survived

Ukraine hails glory to their heroes, Russia hails glory to their heroes and they both try to decimata each other because of hate. U.S wants control, Russia wants control and Ukraine is in the middle while innocents die. We did atrocities in ww2 because of hate as a weapon used for control and power and we are doing it again. There is in fact, no Glory in all of this for humans as a species.
