dude thanks so much ive been using Windows Movie Maker and it sucks butt and when i went to look for other programs i found butt junk ones so this video helped out a lot on finding stuff that i need.
I personally enjoy DaVinci Resolve more than Hitfilm 4 Express. I used Hitfilm 4 Express for about a year, and the reason I prefer DaVinci Resolve is that it is SO much smoother. Hitfilm 4 Express videos are SO laggy when you're in the editor. And this is not because of a bad PC. Trust me. I have a GTX 1080TI, I7 7700 processor, and even for me, the Hitfilm 4 Express editor is laggy, whereas the DaVinci Resolve is smooth and clean, constantly.
Shotcut is crap now because i had this glitch where i cannot drag music into the timeline and sometimes can now they say "You cannot now drag music into the time line"

BaSick Yeah there’s no lag. I like it so far. It lacks a few features like selecting multiple clips at once or rearranging tracks, but overall, I think it’s pretty good. I just started video editing a few days ago. Once you learn how to get a video / audio clip into a track and apply filters, it becomes very intuitive.
HitFilm is the best out of these. Unlike what EvilFreestyleGod (bet that took a long time to think up) said, Movie Maker is not the best out there. It IS the best for basic editing, but if you're looking for advanced editing, (animations, SFX, VFX, overlay, etc.) HitFilm 4 Express is the one.
I'm just watching Yes, it can do this (and much more). A LOT of people think Hitfilm 4 Express doesn't work on W10. Those are the same people who didn't check the system requirements on the same page as the download. You need to have a graphics card of at least HD 4000. If you have say Intel HD 3000, Radeon HD 2000, etc., the program will crash. Hope that helps. P.S. Be sure you have a processor that can handle HD 4000 and higher (if you do have them).

Use both Hitfilm and Davinci Resolve...Hitfilm is like a visual effects editor and davinci is like a color corrector....I do daily editing in Davinci becaus of it's simple layout......
Yeah....Davinci is like Adobe Premiere pro and Hitfilm is like After Effects....But keep in mind you need a pretty decent PC for davinci and Hitfilm....Shotcut is for users with a low end pc....
All software editors can take out parts or cut out parts....If that wasn't an option in an editing software, then I wouldn't call it an editing software....If u have a low end pc used shotcut and if u have a decent pc, use hitfilm or DaVinci.....I would reccomend hitfilm over DaVinci, because DaVinci is for color grading and hitilm is for special effects and it's targeted towards TH-camrs....

Ensure that your video encoding matches your refresh and gameplay rate?
You should try Lightworks. It has a mixed frame rate feature which worked fine when I had the same problem. :)

Use both Hitfilm and Davinci Resolve...Hitfilm is like a visual effects editor and davinci is like a color corrector....I do daily editing in Davinci becaus of it's simple layout......

Yeah....Davinci is like Adobe Premiere pro and Hitfilm is like After Effects....But keep in mind you need a pretty decent PC for davinci and Hitfilm....Shotcut is for users with a low end pc....

All software editors can take out parts or cut out parts....If that wasn't an option in an editing software, then I wouldn't call it an editing software....If u have a low end pc used shotcut and if u have a decent pc, use hitfilm or DaVinci.....I would reccomend hitfilm over DaVinci, because DaVinci is for color grading and hitilm is for special effects and it's targeted towards TH-camrs....
shotcut can't be opened on a mac because it's an untrusted developer. just saving you time
