- Agent Nesty at your service! Today my family and I are going to the Russina Traditional Bathhouse - BANYA. it's an awesome but challenging experience of steaming with beating brooms, running out into the snow, drinking herbal tea (or cold beer) and chatting with family. I love the Russian bathhouse, and it's also very healthy! So after watching it, you'll definitely want to try it yourself! (Well or not lol)

I don't know about that.

@@PolPot-ef1qq But nobody asked for your opinion.
@@petergroves3153 Nor yours, lol.
My brother in law is from Moscow. He built a banya in the back yard here in the USA. Just like this with shower using wood for the fire its really nice. He even did the thing with the leaves pretty cool! 😂
As a Brit who lives in Russia and has his own banya I completely agree Banya is Brilliant
As an American who lives in Russia and has his own banya too I completely agree with you :)
@@PaulV. Why would anyone want to live in russia?
@@fuzekle Obviously, because the country irl is light-years better than the Western media shows
@@PaulV. True that living in Russia isn't like living in Venezuela, but it's still depressing, compared to Western countries. Also, supporting dictator PooTin with taxes is bad.
@@SwordOfApollo They told you this on CNN, well, live in this paradigm, it's even funny, you're like small children, your eyes haven't opened to the end yet, and you're already judging things that you don't even have a clue about! And they also tell us something about propaganda, go look in the mirror!
This adds to my 'worldliness'. Us agents stick together ! 😋💓💞💕
Hello Agent Nesty from the USA. I just love your sense of humor that makes your videos so funny. I laughed all the way through it 😅😂 Your dad looks like a bathhouse professional and you have a great family 😊 Love your videos!!
📤📤📤
Amazing
And I thought only Finns were crazy enough to do that😵 I love that the uncle is hiding a vape while dad is like “let’s chill a massive bottle of beer”😂
📤📤📤
Oh my gosh, Nesty that was wild! From sauna to snow back to sauna? OMG, that is only for the hardiest of body and spirit. It’s cool to watch but don’t think I could ever try. Bravo, for the family spirit 😊
📤📤📤
That's crazy. Yikes 194 ° (F) when the average body temp is 98.6° (F) is kind of like a crab or lobster 🦞🦀 getting boiled in a pot 🥘 lol and Thanks for sharing it was another Awesome 😎 video . One more thing greetings from Philly USA 🤘🫶🙌✝️🙏🙏🙏
it is always good to see different foods, culture and traditions...thanks for sharing
Beautiful bathouse. We had one on the farm in Bowman, North Dakota. Wonderful video Nesty. Best humor ever. 😁
Sounds like it was cold up there. Cheers from Texas

Hello Nastya! I want to express my admiration for your commitment to such self-discipline. I understand that the ritual you shared in your video is believed to have therapeutic benefits. While I have no doubt about its effects, I don't think I could personally withstand the process. Thank you for sharing such a fascinating video with us, even though it made me feel inadequate in comparison!
📤📤📤
In my town in Bulgaria we have small pools with mineral water (something like a jacuzzi), surrounded by a river. When we go there, we enter the hot water (it is about 50°C) and then jump into the river. It's not like banya, but we use what we have. I love your videos
We do this as well. Sauna, then cold. Extremely healthy and fun. Thank you, Nesty. I enjoyed this video.
In Canada we do it too! Pretty fun!
Putting your body into shock is not safe. People die every year from this.
@@jamesmurray5934 It has health benefits but its not safe to go into icy water after sauna alone, because u can drown. I haven't heard nobody has died in Finland for doing that snow and sauna combination :D And allmost everyone uses sauna every week/ month
@@Juhani96 it can also put your body in shock. Which can kill people
@@jamesmurray5934 naah, if u have bad health then there can be heart failure or some shit but u ain't dying if u are normal healthy person.
This is my face of enjoyment! 😂 is this the start of Nesty's journey to masochism!?
I also love your family! I love the noise and energy they give.
Love Russia will visit someday soon greetings from Philippines 🇷🇺❤️
welcome here!
Wow. You're family is awesome. So lucky to get to do that with them. Thanks for sharing
I've done a lot, and I've been a lot of places, but I've never done anything like this. Very special, thanks for sharing.
I don't have snow in my country, Malaysia🇲🇾. But I enjoys your video because you are hillarious, funny as well😂 and I gained more knowledge about Russia and it's rich cultures 😍⭐
Us Aussies do the same except like this: beach-ocean-beach!
I only ever saw this Russian bathhouse experience in some movies, so I like seeing it candidly "in the wild," :-)
A few years ago I was at a lake in Себеж. There was a banya there! But it was in summer! There were several runs lasting about 4 to .5 minutes. After every trip to the banya we ate heartily and drank vodka! That was very unusual for me as a German...but I had a lot of fun 😋
Fantastic job as always, your videos are very entertaining. You have a lovely family. Thank you once again and keep it going.
This is the most brave exemple of Russian woman, i would never left Banna to go to the snow , =x
This one is my favorite video so far, is so funny the clips 😂😂
This video was so enjoyable, educational and interesting. I’m a fan of the Russian sauna. I’d love to try it. Your family sauna is awesome. Seems like such an amazing way to spend time with family. I’m such a big fan of your charisma, but now also your family’s charisma as well. They seem like such good sports, fun and supportive. Such good energy. ❤
Oh I just love your videos, so funny and fun :)) Thank you for sharing your special moments with family.
But you should not scream when rolling in the snow. Be hard💪 and restrain and only breath in an out.👱👸
Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪 also a sauna country like Finland 🇫🇮
It's better with ice bath but snow will due....
Nice video.
You're so fine. Your family is really cool. That did look relaxing.
This video was gold! You are one of the funniest TH-camrs I know! Paka Paka!
❤❤ Нэсти, это выглядит весело… особенно с нужными людьми. Любовь.🌹🌹😘😘
1:04 In the US this is called "potpourri" pronounced "po-por-ri". People use it in little heaters to naturally scent their homes. There are many different kinds in the stores not many people make their own. (Most Americans are helpless when it comes to making products at home).😅
5:23 Ah...memories😂
Thank your family for sharing a bit of their life.
Block banya? and not wood? Not sure how I feel about this. ( But it is very nice 🙂
Anyhow, You do not need to "slay" the word. You can just say the word. 🤣😂. Just having fun. Your English is very good.
I enjoy your humor very much. I am happy you are making more videos now.
It's wood inside, so, that's relatively okay. But, at large, needs more time for heating and thus more firewood. That's not okay.
@@user-lr5zn3gy4u Yes, I agree. I have seen banya in city's. But they are in a heated building. I have also seen them in very large mansions. But they are also located inside the main building, with a door going outside. But most traditional banya are made of wood for good reason. Russia is COLD! 😁
Such traditions of sauna or similar to sauna exist all over the world, Vikings, Finnish, Native Americans.
Wow that looks like fun, but cold, 👍
I love your Samoyed, he looks like a fluffy white cloud!
Omg early!! You’re one of my favorite content creators out of Russia ❤❤
You speak English really well. Hope you and your family are doing well and stay safe.
looks like everyone is having a good time.
What a lovely tradition! Love to do this one day
Traditions are an important part of our lives and cultures. Glad to see you participate and then carry on them in your own way.
When I was younger, I loved the sauna. First 30 minutes in hot tub, then 30 minutes in sauna, then 30 minutes in cold plunge pool. It really shocks your system. Afterwards drinking lots of water.

Your videos are amazing, I am hooked to them and watching non stop :) you have such a beautiful family, makes my heart warm ❤
Hilarious. You have a wonderful sense of humour. Great content. I love Banya. You have a lovely family.
Although it is not your first language, your command of the English language is extremely impressive! Good wishes with your work.
I hope when I have a family of my own I can create family traditions like these, thank you for sharing!
It’s ok just keep talking. Let your family talk too 😂. We still can hear you ❤
That juniper panel is really interesting! I would like to hang it on my wall as smell-able art!
Best wishes to you and yours from Washington state! And thank you for sharing this time with your family; it warms the heart!
Two takeaways:
1. The dog looks awesome!
2. People who like warm beer are indeed perverts. 🤣 I’m English on my mother’s side, but unlike much of England, I’ll never embrace beer that isn’t cold!
As a sauna hardened Finn, I give this a thumbs up. The temperature was a little low (imho) but enjoying yourself is what it is all about. I too love the smell of beer poured over the rocks. No sauna makkara? Great video agent!
Hmm I think banya's air is wet, so you cant' endure the same temperature level as in dry air of sauna. Isnt it?
@@RushFuture there are many who just go in, but true Finns enjoy the saunan löylyt. I typically have it set for 120°C and put water on every 3-4 minutes.
@@arvoitus4649 seems like we are neighbours (I live near St.Petersburg), I do the same :)
@@RushFuture no no, dry löyly is much more harsh than moist. Wood heated sauna have more moisture and u can easily reach 100 celcius without problems. Electric saunas have more dry feeling and its best around 80 celcius. But ofc everyone have their own opinions :D
@@RushFuturea sauna is supposed to be wet… what kind of sauna do u use…
Thanks so much for creating and sharing this informative video. Great job. Keep it up.
Looks like a great time was had by one and all.
That use of EDP was just *chefs kiss*
Great Video. I'd like to try this Russian Sauna. Thank you Nesty
Another Awesome video thanks for sharing your family with us ))
A lot of similarities to a Lakota/Dakota sweat lodge. Pre lodge many fast. Meal is afterwards in which we make a spirit plate which is served first before any else eats. To get yours like a Native lodge you would need singing, a drum, and absolute darkness. And rather than leave the sauna/lodge at will there is usually 4 "doors" for the 4 directions in which the next bucket of water is introduced for the next round. This is the time that some may use to step out and come back and is usually no more than a few minutes. Last lodge I did was so hot I was almost ready to peek my head out to the cold air under the lodge tarp. I like them crazy hot. This time is meant for reflection and prayer.
Wow! It looks like fun ( self torcher ). Tea is good. Enjoy!
What a totally amazing brilliant video, can't thank you and your family enough for sharing such a wonderful family event.
That was great, it was all the better for you family taking part but not taking stage directions. Ive had a Finnish Sauna very refreshing, the door blew open everytime water went on the hot stones.
WOW! It looks SO much fun! ❤🎉
Крутяяяяк!!! Супер подача, отличный баланс юмора, содержания и атмосферы. Просто огонь! Молодец)))
Awesome 👌. Closest thing in my childhood was from cold pool to jacuzzi and back (at a friend's house). Those banya hats though 🤔.
I remember when I was a kid I got into a hot tub/jacuzzi unsupervised. I stayed in there too long and began feeling dizzy and I almost passed out. Luckily, I got out. But if I didn't, I could have drowned. Maybe someday I will be lucky enough to experience a real Russian banya. Banya seems like a very good family bonding moment. I enjoy your videos very much and really like your sense of humor.
Loved your video!❤
i definitely need that hat. But with hammer and sickle on it 😁😁😁
True russian classics.
thanks for the amazing video , thank you for sharing your family life with us
Great vlog as usual nesty ❤
This is the most detailed video of the steaming I have seen, why it is done, how it is done, what does it do to the body etc etc….❤
Thanks for showing us what brings you pleasure. A young lady maturing, living away, realizing the joy of her family, and the pleasures that exist with rural living.
I love the way u provide so much about Russia… as an Indian I love everything about Russia .. people and their culture…. So keep smiling buz your sweet smiles alway make my day
this is your best video ever. Our American families are not nearly so close. Seeing this video makes me want to move my family to RU
Agent nesty eres muy divertida a pesar de no entender mucho haces los videos divertidos 😂😂 te sigo desde hace tiempo ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Excellent story 👍💯😊
I’m American, but I’m Finnish bloodline haha we love saunas!
9:53 lil bro is enjoying that
Awesome!! I don't know if I would have the courage to jump in the snow the first time, but it looks really fun and relaxing. I wanna try someday.
Oh my god I wish I could do this ! I was born and raised in Australia however, I am Russian/Ukrainian. My parents have told me about banyas and showed photos of them experiencing it. I always feel disconnected from my background since I can speak English and Russian but, can’t visit where my parents grew up. Thank you for sharing this it’s interesting to learn more things about my own culture!
Very nice video. Keep up the good work!
Someday, I'll give this a shot. Someday
My friends and I would do this while up at the ski resort, "all except beat each other with branches." Fond memories going from the hot sauna to rolling around in the snow. We would also hang out in the community jacuzzi naked having deep meaningful conversations of life, get out, roll in the snow, and hop back in. One night some old couple in their '70's, hopped in the jacuzzi with us, we had to wait until they left becasue we were all naked. Running naked back to our condo I slipped on the icy sidewalk and received a huge bruise and scraped up bum.
4:03 must be one of the most beautiful scenes ever filmed.
i am from India i love 💕 Russia and Russian people's you so beautiful ❤️🎉❤🎉❤
The Law & Order pop-up was the best 🤣😂
yayy Nesty! Love this episode! where I live in Hawaii we are always hot but in the winter sometimes there is snow on top of the volcano :) please do more videos. Thanks and Aloha!
Looks fun ❤️
Very excellent video! ❤ Steven
Merci beaucoup ✌🏼
Just came home from sauna. But as it’s public sauna so it’s not as „hard core“. the automatic „Aufguss“ is just not the same as if a master does it. - jumping into the snow afterwards is awesome. I actually preferre it or ice water to the shower as it’s a fast cold rush.
Hey. I would try this. Looks fun. Thanks
This was fun. Maybe we have to build a "banya" in our yard in Canada 🙂
Do tell your whole family thank-you for sharing their Bathhouse experience with us! Not at all common in the US. Especially the screaming in the snow while wearing only a towel part...
Your dad is great ,👍👍
Kind regard to you all
I'm in Russia currently and would love to try that before winter goes away❤☺️
Yeah you should! Where in Russia are you? I'm visiting Russia right now too, Ryazan region.
Very nice and interesting video. Thanjs😀👍
Your humor is the best hahaha!
Have a good time. See you next time.
I hope the neighbors know you're doing banya or they might call the police on all the screaming! 😂😂😂
Seriously this looks like an awesome tradition and I'd love to try it!
damn thats pretty fun and interesting i wouldnt roll around in the snow though and beautiful as always 😍😍
После просмотра тоже захотелось в баню)
Yep I thought me jumping into my ice bath was cold……Russians bring a new meaning to the word freezing 🥶
