Favorite track in the game! Excellent trombone eighth note riffs towards the beginning. At 1:04 it starts to sound like a detective theme. Or a police car chase. Which isn’t a bad thing! I love how Pokrovsky really mixes genres, styles, and instruments together. The whole soundtrack is very eclectic. Not your usual sweeping broad “epic” orchestra score which is par for the course with other games of this genre. We don’t see a lot of creativity with music like this nowadays.
1:22 Using samples in this way reminds me heavily of Drakengard 1, another game based around flying as dragons. Drakengard 1 does it better, but I wonder if they took some inspiration from that game at all
