These are some of our most recent swales we added to the front of our cottage and they consist of the following trees 🌲🌳
- Jackfruit
- Avocado
- Goji berries
- Cannistel (eggfruit)
- White Sapote
- Jaboticaba
- Marula
- Papaya
- Moringa
- Wild Medlar
- and some ground cover crops

not sure of your rainfall ? - you do not seem to have a viable swale system - lacking catchment ? and subsequent water for soaking -

@@biochipermaculture1429 How different are the growing conditions in Limpopo from Western or Eastern Cape? Looks so lovely! I will do something like this too.
Jack Will Western cape is more Mediterranean. Find out what zone your site is in and observe the weather conditions to best suit your needs.
@@jacketgreatorex White sapote,canistel,jabuticaba,wwax jsmbu,rose apple, blue java banana,marula,kiwi,persimmons,moringa,rollinia,ice cream bean, anonna squamosa(sugar apple) grows well in the western cape. Jack fruit does ok in sandy loam bu dies in clayish soil as it does not like wet feet in our wet winters.
@@jacketgreatorex star fruit also grows here. White sapote is a citrus so it will grow anywhere citrus grows
