      Thank you for your comment. Please DYOR, permaculture is a group of plants grown together to form an ecosystem beneficial to its environment. Perhaps a forest 🌳 might be the perfect example. Also, by eating the cow, your nutrition is secondary, therefore lacking in some of the most vital nutritional components from vitamins, minerals and macro and micro nutrients. ORGANI(C)SM

    Hey you two, i forgot to mention a couple helpful tips on getting the bees to take to the flow frames right away. Starting off with a new swarm or package of bees, or NUCs, I would NOT have the super on. Its always a good beekeeping practice to keep the hive strong to deal with pest, and you do that by only giving them they room they need at the time. So let them start off only with the brood box, and when it is 80% full, pop the flow super on. And before you add the super, its most helpful to melt some wax and paint it on the frames giving the frame a coat of wax. You can buy wax on Amazon or any bee store. Once you have that done, add it on top of the brood box-- Yet DONT' ADD THE QUEEN EXCLUDER JUST YET. Wait two weeks to help encourage the bees to start working it. Then after around day 15, go through the super and make sure the queen is not in there, and then add the queen excluder. And after adding it, add a top entrance. All these three things I have learned from several of my mentors and it will pay off. I hope all this helps my brothers. All the best to you.

  • @bradgoliphant
    @bradgoliphant 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Exciting. You guys look like twins, or at least brothers. I just set up my flow hive 2. It's so beautiful. As for catching a swarm, it's helpful to get an old frame of wax from another beekeeper because bees are super drawn to that smell. All the best.

      Thank you so kindly. We are brothers on a mission to add necessary change to this world. We want to build and help build as many permaculture villages and farms as possible. I suppose greening the land is the most important. Will certainly do that thank you. I will ask the bee farmer next door. Maybe he will love the flow hive so much that he converts too. 😎 small changes in a big world 🌟🌳🌟

      @@biochipermaculture1429 I was a beekeeper for 11 years when I was younger. I’m 59 now and live in NYC. The reason I’m starting a new hive is because science has shown urban beekeeping may be the answer to saving the bees because we have 8 months of flowers and everything here is pesticide free, and far from any mono crop fields. I want to help save the bees. My hive goes out in a large garden next to me in 18 days. Hey, did you catch a swarm yet? All the best
