Started playing after seeing your videos about the mod. Like it so far, only crashes when trying to do siege battles so far. If it's a draw out it's fine. Love it so far
Yeah only siege battles are unstable, but I still want to play them so that I can record the architecture of the custom settlements. Adds to the mod's immersion. Custom African settlements in Africa, East Asian ones in East Asia, etc etc
Such an interesting part of history, shame that video games (and media as a whole) don't cover it more. The music at the beginning sounds a lot like the menu music from Far Cry 2... I wonder if it's the same. not a bad thing, just a really unexpected wave of nostalgia lol
It IS from Far Cry 2 haha, I add custom music while editing the videos. I add video game OSTs which fit the setting depending on the location of the battle and other factors
Do you have any advice on getting this mod stable? I've got a pretty decent computer and have the 4gb limit patch but it's still a hot mess. Are there any settings you'd recommend?
if you avoid siege battles that will get rid of all the crashes, also reducing the unit quality to medium I think helps, I also changed a few things in the config file. I'm not sure if changing these things in the config file helped though, but I'll tell you what I changed in it. I put widescreen to = 0 I also made sure that windowed mode was = 1

I wonder when a new update for this is coming out, I'm hoping to give this a try when crashes aren't as much of a problem.
So good!
