Lily, all the SHS schools in Ghana are well spread across the whole country. Every region has got more than 50 SHS all governments. In fact some regions have over 100 SHS
Just this week ie Tuesday , Prempeh College won the world robotic compitition for SHS held in Turkey ie first and they have got scholarship to study at M I T in Massachussets .
This school is so massive. They are so coordinated. I didn't know this aspect of Ghanians. Lily keeps showing is more, for better knowledge and understanding. Go, Ghanians..🎉🎉🎉
Lily i hope you are noticing the healthy positive competition amongst the schools. Thats the kind of competition Ghanaians are familiar with. This unhealthy competition Nigerians are bringing to us is so alien to us. It will be good if they stop.
@Lee, I have always waited for my school. Kumasi Wesley High Girls'. You did that of Central region and I loved it. Now I'm waiting for mine. I will be back later to watch all those videos I couldn't finish. Thanks
Lily dear, all the sec schools in gh have their diaspora branches too. Especially the UK, Canada and US. My own alma mater UK branch built an ultra modern art block and it’s absolutely stunning. But when you showed my school it didn’t feature. I think it was an old video so you didn’t get that building and others built single handedly by an old girl. That’s Archbishop Porter in Tadi which you have already shown.
There are lots of High schools in Ashanti region (Afia Kobi, Kumasi Girls, Yaa Asantewaa Girls, St. Louis, etc.). There's also Kumasi Wesley Girls (Missionary school)
Lilly! Some Nigerians said that Ghanaians do not speak English. Do you find it to be true? Ghanaians know how to do but we were trained not to show off. Ghana is always concerned of building a solid engine than a strong chassis.
Lily, keep hitting there.... the place you are hitting that's making Nigerians go mad...as for us Ghanaians, we will keep complaining till our government gives us the best out there. Wait till u get to technical schools
I always wondered if the culture of spreading money during celebrations to showcase how wealthy you are is channeled to improving such things as your schools you graduated from that trained your youth will go a long way to improve discipline and respect for country in the youth. It’s just a thought because I always find that culture of spreading money with disregard as a terrible example to others and society.
@mercybaffoe1025 I don't think you understood the point. The commenter was talking about Nigerians who are always spread money at parties to show their level of wealth rather than chaneling that money into building their schools.
Cuzz it’s a big region in terms of landmass. Before they didn’t like education saying it was white indoctrination. So after independence Nkrumah focused on building for schools in Asante n northern region n made them free. Now they are almost caught up.Abd the current king too has focused on sponsoring education for the past 20 something yrs.
