Not to say that Spider-Man has never killed, but most of the time it was either an accident or Peter was in the wrong state of mind the time. So this film tests that moral compass by giving him a scenario where he knows he could easily send all these villains back to their homes at any moment, but he knows that if he does that their deaths will be on his hands.
Imagine if tobey never stopped Tom's peter from killing goblin, i dont think it'd be just one strike with the glider he'd keep going until his stamina ran out

that's actually not a "black suit" in the beginning of the movie we get a little scene in which peter gets paint all over his suit (I belive it was the one in which he fought mysterio), so he just flipped the suit inside out, you can kinda see the cables that power up all the fancy tech it has. if i were to say every detail this movie had I would write an essay 20 ft long. instead imma just recommend the videos on the details in this movie from the channel TheCanadianLad, because he summed all the amazing details up very well and I enjoyed watching those videos a lot.
Unfortunately the scenes where the lizard and sand man turned back to human were just old shots from the old movies as the actors weren't able to actually appear in this film, to those who don't immediately recognize the shots it's hard to tell so it's still well done.
The lawyer was Matt Murdock, the civilain identity of Daredevil. Its confirmed that his Disney+ series "Daredevil: Born Again" will be set in the 5th phase of the MCU. "I'm not seeking penance for what i've done, father. Im asking forgiveness for what im about to do."
multiverse time!! spider-man no way home!! don is so lucky that he doesn't have to wait for any of these films or series to come out, when he want to watch them, he just watch them
What I love is the slip up that Dr. Strange does throughout the movie. When he said, "You changed my spell six times!" and Peter goes, "Five times." Dr. Strange had changed the spell to include himself in remembering Peter before Peter had added the option of everyone who already knew. Later on in the movie, Dr. Strange actually admits he loves Peter. "Everyone who knows and loves you.... we... we'd have no memory of you." I really enjoyed watching this movie and can't wait for my sons to be old enough to enjoy it with me.
Peter killed goblin, curing norman killed the goblin. The others tried to stop him from killing Norman because of his rage seing them as the same person.
This really is one of the most sad stories imo, many mistakes just made it into such a big problem. I'm curious of how this will change spiderman as a hero interacting with the other ones after nobody remembers Peter.
the thing as well is a lot of the amazing Spiderman's villains were deluded by their powers or didn't have all the cards on the table and most of toby Maguire villains become superpowered but gained literal mental health issues as a result otto has his arms constantly whispering and yelling at him so he basically is in a body driven by 8 different people all wanting different and osborn ended up having Dissociative identity disorder with a personality that is a sadist and the complete opposite of Osborn in terms of wants like in the first Spiderman you can tell when Osborn is speaking and when the goblin is. but it's really sad because when you look at it a lot of them if they didn't have the mental disorders caused by how they gianed their powers would have become possibly hero's like max/electro was literally the nicest sweetest man you could have working in a corpo job but just when off the deep end
I wish you'd watched Toby's movies recently as well. The man who caught the thing in midair without looking is Daredevil. he's a blind superhero. Fantastic TV show.
I think, if you have the chance to save someone's life, you should always take it, even if that person is a criminal or has done some really bad things. You never know, it might change his way of thinking and turn him into a better person. And if it doesn't... well, at least you tried.
The person who caught the brick was Daredevil. Honestly we should have requested you to watch it before this. It is a series. Also the actor for Lizard and Sandman filmed no new scenes so I guess they got people who sounded similar and reused footage. Also also the actor who plays The Green Goblin did most of his stunts. He is pretty old so it was very impressive.
The scene where Spidy is keeping the box away from Strange is because the spider sense works automatically. Spidy's body would doge attacks if Peter could just quite his head and trust the sense.
Spiderman 3 is gonna be venom for sure bc after the credit sence we se eddie (not from tobeys universe) and he was talking about the avengers and then he was like "i gotta see this spiderman guy" and then when he was disappearing back to his universe he left behind venom and it moved
Your mentality around Peter's decision to help the villains isn't necessarily wrong, it just tells me that you wouldn't be a good Spider-Man. Because Spider-Man will always try to save anyone in need, regardless of who they are.
It’s really wonderful that both Neighborhood Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man were trying to help out the third Spider-Man like he’s a little brother to them.
Don if you reember during the beginning of Across the spider verse Miguel (spider man 2099) says thsis phrase to Gwen “Don't even get me started on Dr.Strange and that little nerd on earth 199999” Yes he was talking about the incidents in no way home, you see at the end when Dr.Strange said the universes were colliding, their universe was about to be destroyed due to the canon being disrupted but Strange prevented it from happening.
Some of these guys didn't ask to be villains some of them were curse with power, like Max he was he sweet and misunderstood guy then he fell into the eel pool.
People still remember Spider-Man, just not Peter. Also, the lawyer was Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil. This trilogy is weird because it’s all an origin story. Now we have his homemade suit with no tech listening to the police scanner, secret identity intact , even to other heroes. This movie basically washed away 99% of my criticisms of the MCU Spidey.
Not gonna lie, this movie, despite some flaws you may find in it, was a fckin miracle. As a person who grew up watching Spider-Man movies and reading comic books, I had a blast watching it. My only wish would be to not have gotten spoiled. People told me every damn spoiler months before even the trailer came out. They were like "Dude, have you heard about MARVEL hiring Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire for undisclosed roles in a future project?" and showed me photos of them on set, and I was like, "well, shit". Obviously, I was insanely hyped up, but pissed at the same time. Imagine finding it out for yourself during the movie? Although, if I had the chance to selectively wipe my memory about this specific movie and immediately watch it without getting spoiled, I probably wouldn't do it. I will 100% be dead by the time Tobey arrives. Even knowing what was going to happen, I was hyped af, still am to this day. MARVEL are actually amazing
So the lawyer who caught the brick at the beginning of the movie is Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. And by the way, he’s BLIND. So because he’s blind, he’s learned to heighten his other senses. You should watch the _Daredevil_ TV series; it’s one of the best live-action superhero adaptations to ever exist in my opinion.
Okay the one thing about Spider-man in the comics and the MCU Spidy share is they want to help people. If Spidy can save the villon and get them on the right path he would rather do that before just beating them up. Also Spidy will not kill unless there is absolutely no choice and when he does it weighs on his soul. Great power comes great responsibility is more than a catch phrase to Peter, it us a montra on how he lives his life.
3:58 "Who is this brother?" Matt Murdock aka "Daredevil". Check out his series "Daredevil". It's a really great series and worth checking out. :) Especially if your going in "Hawkeye", It'll explain the big bad in that show. :)
Imagine ned turning into a villain now yelling in their final battle with peter something among the lines like “you promised you’d make me remember” or something like that
47:13 I like to think that this Peter managed to save her because he thought to himself every night after Gwen died about the exact way he should've saved her
The best thing about the "what's your favorite movie spiderman" is that there is no wrong answer, they are all good choices and I think it's amazing that there isn't a "bad" spiderman
The fact you went into this blind meaning you were surprised by even the villains showing up is awesome. I can only imagine what that would have been like
This movie sets up so many possibilities. It cures all the villains, so any franchise can continue with new possibilities. Like for example with an ARC Rector Otto finally has "The power of the sun, in the palm of his hand". It opens the possibilities for Venom in Tom's universe
I'm sure you know by now but the brick guy is Dare devil 😂😂 Fingers crossed for a spider man & dare devil cross over eventfully... That was amazing spider man redemption arc & no he couldn't have saved Gwen by diving don't forget green goblin was attacking him too In the process.
24:34 Peter never killed any of his villains purposefully. Saying “they had to be taken out because they were gonna hurt people” just isn’t moral logic that *any* of the Spider-Men on film adhere to, nor should they. There’s always another way.
@@yugioh5ds2011 Blud doesn't like comments, bother responding to them or even following them. Sure, he can do his own thing, but we can still call him out for it

Man, Charlie Cox’s cameo as Matt Murdock was one of the highlights for me. Shame you didn’t get the reference. Hope you get around to watching the Daredevil series sometime.
I hope they revisit the Ned using magic thing. He mentioned earlier on something like how magic ran in his family, and no one took him seriously. Wearing a sling ring and making a close enough gesture proved how true that is!
You can always tell who didn't watch the Netflix Daredevil series by how they react - or don't react - to Peter's lawyer. Yes, that is Matt Murdock, also known as the vigilante Daredevil. He's kinda like Marvel's Batman if Batman was blind and wasn't a billionaire. He and Spider-Man have crosed paths and teamed up many times in the comics because they both operate in New York City, but this is the first time they've met in live-action.
When Peter is separated from his physical form and keeps avoiding Strange's attempts to grab the Macchina di Kadavus from him, that's Peter's Spidey-Sense and if look closely to his astral form when they do the close ups, you can see translucent squiggly lines coming from his head which is how they sometimes depicted his Spidey-Sense in the comics. Super cool detail imo.

Looks like Don has a new show to watch. Ngl, Daredevil is such a fire show. I miss the darker aspects of the Netflix shows.
Yup! Strange is my favorite and the actor Benedict Cumberbatch is one huge reason why. He’s just a phenomenal actor and a perfect casting for Strange.
that's actually not a "black suit" in the beginning of the movie we get a little scene in which peter gets paint all over his suit (I belive it was the one in which he fought mysterio), so he just flipped the suit inside out, you can kinda see the cables that power up all the fancy tech it has. if i were to say every detail this movie had I would write an essay 20 ft long. instead imma just recommend the videos on the details in this movie from the channel TheCanadianLad, because he summed all the amazing details up very well and I enjoyed watching those videos a lot.
"How did he just catch that without even lookin?" ... Guess it's time to add the Daredevil series to your queue. ;)
Tom Holland1. Miles Morales2. Andrew Garfield. 3 Tobey Maguire.
My favorite(Top 3) spiderman is
1.Hobie brown from across the spider verse
2.Miles Morales
3.Andrew Garfield The Amazing Spider man
After watching this, I can tell If Don was in the MCU, he definetely would be a villain
More like he'd be the Punisher
multiverse time!! spider-man no way home!! don is so lucky that he doesn't have to wait for any of these films or series to come out, when he want to watch them, he just watch them
oh no he doesnt know daredevil
What I love is the slip up that Dr. Strange does throughout the movie. When he said, "You changed my spell six times!" and Peter goes, "Five times." Dr. Strange had changed the spell to include himself in remembering Peter before Peter had added the option of everyone who already knew. Later on in the movie, Dr. Strange actually admits he loves Peter. "Everyone who knows and loves you.... we... we'd have no memory of you." I really enjoyed watching this movie and can't wait for my sons to be old enough to enjoy it with me.
That’s Daredevil, I hope you react to the series
(At 41:18) It looks better than glowing blue with lichtenberg scars.
I cant wait for the next movie. Honestly, the next movie would be the perfect time to introduce black cat.
Peter killed goblin, curing norman killed the goblin. The others tried to stop him from killing Norman because of his rage seing them as the same person.
Benadryl Cuminmysnatch is truly one of my favorite actors
5:40 People say its pessimistic, but I like the realistic thought of it. Either you're right, and it is what it is, or you're pleasantly surprised.
This was def my movie of the year when I saw it in theaters
"I don't really remember tobey maguire's spider-man" when you had no reaction to norman's "I'm something of a scientist myself" line, I believe you.
you missed an end credits. It showed Eddie Brock briefly visiting this universe. The one from the recent Venom movies
daredevil was the lawyer, one of the best (imo) Netflix marvel shows to date and now he's really in the mcu.
The scene where Spidy is keeping the box away from Strange is because the spider sense works automatically. Spidy's body would doge attacks if Peter could just quite his head and trust the sense.
basically what happened at end fight scene in Far from Home
This is the moment we have all been waiting for
Spiderman 3 is gonna be venom for sure bc after the credit sence we se eddie (not from tobeys universe) and he was talking about the avengers and then he was like "i gotta see this spiderman guy" and then when he was disappearing back to his universe he left behind venom and it moved
Your mentality around Peter's decision to help the villains isn't necessarily wrong, it just tells me that you wouldn't be a good Spider-Man. Because Spider-Man will always try to save anyone in need, regardless of who they are.
It's also a complete misunderstanding of those movies because none of them were outright evil and even Doc Ock turned good at the end
when peter was separated from his physical body but his body was still moving ...that was his spidey senses
It’s really wonderful that both Neighborhood Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man were trying to help out the third Spider-Man like he’s a little brother to them.
The lawyer is a superhero!!! His name is daredevil!!!
You missed a post credit scene where Venom and Eddie were in the MCU
Don if you reember during the beginning of Across the spider verse Miguel (spider man 2099) says thsis phrase to Gwen “Don't even get me started on Dr.Strange and that little nerd on earth 199999”
Yes he was talking about the incidents in no way home, you see at the end when Dr.Strange said the universes were colliding, their universe was about to be destroyed due to the canon being disrupted but Strange prevented it from happening.
Some of these guys didn't ask to be villains some of them were curse with power, like Max he was he sweet and misunderstood guy then he fell into the eel pool.
42:28 fun fact, Andraw improvised this part so their confused/wtf faces are legit 😆
I like how this movie uses the fact that the green goblin said "no matter how much good you do eventually they will hate you"
So the lawyer who caught the brick at the beginning of the movie is Matt Murdock aka Daredevil.
Great power comes great responsibility is more than a catch phrase to Peter, it us a montra on how he lives his life.
exactly
3:58 "Who is this brother?" Matt Murdock aka "Daredevil". Check out his series "Daredevil". It's a really great series and worth checking out. :)
Especially if your going in "Hawkeye", It'll explain the big bad in that show. :)
Imagine ned turning into a villain now yelling in their final battle with peter something among the lines like “you promised you’d make me remember” or something like that
47:13 I like to think that this Peter managed to save her because he thought to himself every night after Gwen died about the exact way he should've saved her
Ngl after the whole the boys thing I struggle to believe anything is your first reaction now and not just clickbait
Yeah that actually sucks but he's been watching the MCU in order so I don't think he's been faking with this series.
I hope.
Actually I'm not too sure.
@@Director_Oompaloompa yeah a lot of people have been doing mcu watchthroughs recently so it’s possible
Pls watch the first 3 spider man's with Toby since you don't remember much from those movies
The lawyer who catches the rock is Daredevil 😂😂. His cameo was unexpected.😂
Been sooooooooo looking forward to this!!!
After watching the spiderverse 2nd movie, and understanding what canon events are, i realised that May's death was unavoidable sooner or later.
The Matt Murdock (Daredevil) cameo was great!
Don missed the whole point of Spider-Man he doesn’t kill at all. Everyone who died was beyond saving
3:58 you cant imagine the pain i just felt 😭😭
@cytaldartistFR
@cytaldartist He doesn't give a shit. He doesn't listen to fans.
@@MaddMaster69 stop the cap bruh
@@yugioh5ds2011 Blud doesn't like comments, bother responding to them or even following them. Sure, he can do his own thing, but we can still call him out for it
@@MaddMaster69 you do realise this is free content right?
Jelous of you going through the MCU for the first time haha. And dope that you watched Wanda Vision before Dr Strange 2...a lot of ppl didn't and that's a mistake 100% imo
yeah a big mistake for sure
“Hit the f*ckin button” 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
He and Spider-Man have crosed paths and teamed up many times in the comics because they both operate in New York City, but this is the first time they've met in live-action.
the guy who caught the box for peter is dare devil
When Peter is separated from his physical form and keeps avoiding Strange's attempts to grab the Macchina di Kadavus from him, that's Peter's Spidey-Sense and if look closely to his astral form when they do the close ups, you can see translucent squiggly lines coming from his head which is how they sometimes depicted his Spidey-Sense in the comics. Super cool detail imo.
"Wow, I absolutely loved watching your reaction to 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'! It brought back so many memories of my own first experience with the movie. Your genuine excitement and the way you reacted to all the surprises and cameos was infectious! I couldn’t help but chuckle when you gasped at certain moments-like when all three Spider-Men came together on screen. It was such a nostalgic moment for fans, and seeing it through your eyes made me relive that joy again.
I also appreciated your insights into the characters and how you connected their arcs to previous films in the Spider-Man franchise. It shows how much thought you put into your reactions, and it really enriches the viewing experience. It’s interesting to hear your take on how this film fits within the larger Marvel universe, especially with the multiverse aspect that has been so prominent lately.
Plus, your commentary on the emotional beats really hit home for me. The moments of loss and redemption in the film showcase such a profound aspect of Spider-Man’s character that goes beyond just the superhero action we all love. I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on how this film compares to earlier Spider-Man iterations.
Overall, this was a fantastic reaction video that genuinely captured the magic of 'No Way Home.' Can't wait to see what movie you react to next! Keep up the awesome work!"
Andrew and Tobey coming out the portals is so goosebumping!
14:05 yeah that's why green goblin from Sam Ramis films once said "The one thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying. In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually, they will hate you."
