this is one of my favorite songs of the whole series, i think mostly because it felt like a full song with an intro, a verse-refrain structure and EVEN a bridge, and a really nice crisp ending. so good.
I think this is my favorite Misfit song because of the fact that Stormer and Roxy have more of a presence. I like that in Misfits all the girls sing, whereas in the Holograms it's sorta all Jem.
If you watch the one episode where Stormer and Kimber leave their bands because of how they are treated. Especially Jem who is pretty much lost without Kimber who writes their songs for them.
@@spadarklysparkles1042 Oh yeah...I remember those cassettes. I would "borrow" my big sister's Jem and the holograms tape all the time to listen to it....until I lost it.
When you where a kid: "Jem and the Holograms rule! Their songs are prettier" Now that you're grown up: "@&?! The Misfits knew how to handle the real world all along" -_-
The bad part about Jem and the Holograms they live in bubble where everything is perfect. Misfits deal with the real world and their songs are better and so are their clothes. Check out the Stingers they are pretty awesome too if you can
though most of the misfits songs are about how big an ego can get but this is one of my favorite songs. For once it's not like I'm gonna step on your face because fuck you give me money it's I'm a strong independent woman.
She's my favourite too, although you gotta admire Pizzazz's confident attitude. He just walks into a room and immediately starts pushing everyone around, men included.
I dunno... This is one of the few times where Pizzazz did absolutely nothing... She just walked in there, gave a stunning girl power song about taking charge of your life, and then paid for everything and quietly left the store. Frankly Shana should have been listening to the song more closely.
The Misfits are more or less Jem and the Holograms' biggest rivals and trying to make their big break as well. For them, it's about which band makes the bigger impression and which band has the better music.
Angela Mishler I feel like they threw their criminal behavior in just to remind the audience that, despite their songs, they are the villains. Why can't kids shows ever have a normal rivalry, where one side isn't being demonized?
HnHBlkM I'm still trying to figure out of the Misfits (who might need a name change) will show up. If there's not an Eric Raymond, the fans may as well boycott. If Pizzazz does show up, I hope they know that her hair is supposed to be Chartreuse (like your highlighter in college), not Green.
Quintesson05 Unfortunately, I've seen several youtubers review the trailer. Many of them went on IMDb and as of now there are no actresses cast as the Misfits. However, they were able to include Zipper which confounds me that he's there but not the Misfits. P.S. Eric Raymond is now Erica Raymond, and now she's the one responsible for creating Jem. Truly outrageous right?
I think the Misfits appear in the middle of the end credits. Look at the Wikia pages in the Jem section. Apparently, I think Erica Raymond got fired from Jem and the Holograms and is looking for management work, so she stumbles across the Misfits and is invited into their trailer. This hints at a sequel, but given how poorly the move did, I don't think it's going to materialize. Look for Ke$ha in the role of Pizzazz. I looked at Jetta's Wikia, and in the movie, she is played by a Latina actress whose family is from Mexico. I found this rather odd because isn't Jetta supposed to be British? I would've awarded that role to Jessie J.

"Shoes to walk all over you in!"
Queen.

@@shawniebyrd9393 I remember that episode. It’s called the bands break up
Ah Why couldn't these songs have been longer and released on cd?
Exactly.
If they put these songs on CD now i bet that would fly off the shelf because so many people would buy the soundtrack
Agreed
They released full-length versions of some of the songs on cassetes that came with the dolls or other Jem accessories. I remember having a few.

Other day at work i heard a woman tell this man loud and simple"I,m a Designing Woman"
Pizzazz : shoes to walk all over you
My grandma : excuse me little girl
😂

+NaiaraDLCR legit
Seeing as how I watched this when I grew up, it's no wonder I gravitated towards the misfits
The Misfits were the sort of naughty Rolling Stones to Jem and the Hologram's good girl Beatles.
The bad part about Jem and the Holograms they live in bubble where everything is perfect. Misfits deal with the real world and their songs are better and so are their clothes. Check out the Stingers they are pretty awesome too if you can
when you realize you drunkenly post a comment about how much you love this song every 4 months or so
+Mimi Hamburger just like clockword
yep
This is not a girl's show. I'm a guy and I'm a jem Girl too!!!!
That's the spirit! 🤘🔥
Soo beautiful Pizzazz and Roxy.
This is song is so expressive of the times.

My favorite Misfits song!
FUCK YEAH
I had a little girl and we watch it together (I bought the dvd's.) I knew she'd be as obsessed as I was when I was her age.
I love the strong baseline in this song. its a great Misfits song, vid is awesome too.
Show it to your male kids too, I know I loved it! :)

Like me...😂😂😂
this is my favorite song in the world.
If you like this one you should check out Welcome to the Jungle from the Misfits
I've got what it takes to make my plans come true and baby baby have I got plans for you.
this shit is legit. the misfits rule.
After hearing this, I don't know which Misfits I like better =)
I like the misfits
Like for the W.I.T.C.H profile picture! 👍💜
Someone needs to make an album of all these songs
bissshhhh you better work!!!!!! lolol
I don’t know what everyone is talking about, the Tramp Stamps sound great
"Sweet lovely Death- I am waiting for you breath- oh, sweet Death- one LAST CARESS!" -a BETTER Misfits song
Love the kicking to.
The Misfits were way better musicians than Jem and the Holograms. Better songs and better attitude!
Only a little criminal...
But they're famous and they ROCK so who cares! 🔥🙏🏻🔥
Yeah but the true artists were the Stingers!
They worship chaos, and crave murder.
Funny how this looks like this was recorded in the 90s, even though The Hub existed in the early 2010s
stormer is the only misfit I ever liked.
She's my favourite too, although you gotta admire Pizzazz's confident attitude. He just walks into a room and immediately starts pushing everyone around, men included.
Pizzazz puts the RAT in BRAT!

Good point...
Eeeyyyyy. 👈👈
Why are they villains, again?
The Misfits are more or less Jem and the Holograms' biggest rivals and trying to make their big break as well. For them, it's about which band makes the bigger impression and which band has the better music.
Because they are criminals who've actually tried to murder the protagonists on several occasions.
Angela Mishler I feel like they threw their criminal behavior in just to remind the audience that, despite their songs, they are the villains.
Why can't kids shows ever have a normal rivalry, where one side isn't being demonized?
Rococo Royalty I'll have to see if I can find it.
Rococo Royalty Ohh, thanks.
Other guys can have Jem or whoever, me, I'd rather have Pizzazz. She's just better in my opinion.
Other girls play help us in coi
I wrote that in my diary when I was little my old diary
I swear that if I ever have female child, I'll force her to watch Jem :)
Feminist icon! All the other girl power cartoons are over! Steven Universe? Cancelled. My little pony? Snatched!
Does anyone know whether, in the movie, the original music/songs will be featured or will there be whole new songs??
HnHBlkM I'm still trying to figure out of the Misfits (who might need a name change) will show up. If there's not an Eric Raymond, the fans may as well boycott. If Pizzazz does show up, I hope they know that her hair is supposed to be Chartreuse (like your highlighter in college), not Green.

if this song or ANY original misfits song is in the new movie I will eat my hat

There are better Misfits songs than this: "we are 138", "attitude", "astro zombies", braineaters" and "mommy can I go out and KILL tonite"!
Pft. Yeah. That sounds like an Eighties Girl Band...
