You can get those without fighting ethiron, medallion chests spawn. The literal only reason you have to fight him is to escape. So are they really tied to him?
@@albinobro i guess more what i meant is the quality of life and time has reduced. Luck made the game so much slower to progress if u wanted good cards and like leveling was so slow before layer 2 and stuff

other than the parry timing, if they put everything back to normal, made enchants rare again, got rid of venting, it would feel much harder and a lot less like a roblox game again. Cause when I first played it didn't feel like I was playing roblox. That's just me though.

Those primadon and ferryman loot buffs and knowledge gain from them was made so bosses are actually useful and not just slept on, no one really did primadon because of his uselessness, so all those buffs make the boss viable, not the game easier.

I think they could have buffed the bosses without negating some of ethirions use though. And in terms of caring about the game being hard, idk, its in the description of the game. Honestly primadon is harder than ethirion no cap, ethirion is just time consuming so they are just making us a time favor, but if yiu want a crypt, rail, lft you gotta do l2
even then enchants can be gotten via ONLY layer 2 floor 1 because of deepshore and if you really wanna stretch it you can just do laplace until you get the enchant you want. Outside of things like dyes and legendary weapons (which you can also trade for) and bell reroll (outside of reaper and shard bow most bells don't matter on a build) and dawnwalker I feel like eth is a waste of time and to risky for what your getting unless you really want dawnwalker ig

When it got to that point the game stopped becoming fulfilling as well as the fact that it ruined the feeling of getting enchants in the first place. They literally added hell mode to have an easier way of getting them due to all the chest which was the perfect way of having a way to get them easier. But it also has risk to it which would be fitting all those mobs in the depths you know? If they kept the rates the same as they started with and added that mode. I feel like that would have been the perfect balance of rng because you'll actually have to go out of your way to farm for those rare rare enchants and risk your life in the process.
