Great shooting Si , good to see you lazing all your quarry , even when something looks closer on open land can be deceptive , getting into the habbit of range finding and using your parralax settings to deadly accurate affect .good on yous
Thanks Si and Davy for your energetic, enthusiastic and motivational videos. I shoot centrefire 30-06 and 243 and 12 bore mainly but have owned many pcp rifles including Air Arms, Daystate and Weirauch. I like many features of pcp's but the true benefit of a springer is that it's always ready (unlke a mk3 with a flat battery just when you have crosshairs on a magpie!). I like the way to take time to make these videos to share your joy and love of the sport, so much so I have ordered the HW95 Luxus, HW97 KT, HW98 & HW99s IMP all tuned stage 1 & 2 in .177 and .22 for the Imp all from Sandwell Field Sports. I'm really looking forward to spending the day there and picking some scopes to go with in early to mid March. All the best and keep up the great vids boys.
Brilliant guys these are getting better all the time. I loved the out takes at the end it show us lads have a laugh too. Thumbed and faved as always look forward to seeing you both soon. ATB Malc
Waited weeks for it but after a 3 hour drive down I finally picked up the tuned HW97KT from Tony Wall at SFS yesterday.... All I can say is what a fantastic shop, full of great gear with a very friendly helpful team running the place. Took it up to the 20m range upstairs and what a phenomenal smooth and well balanced rifle it is in .177 and superbly accurate. Big thanks to Si for bring this to my attention and Tony for doing a top job of tuning it.
Hello Si and Davy from Canada! I know it's 3 years on since you shot this video, and I've been subscribed to you for just over a year. I wish to say TY for hours of enjoyment and education on airgun hunting. Within the next few weeks i am excited to say i am putting in my order for a new HW97 KT! It's been your actions and talents that have convinced me of the guns true potential. I do shoot conventional 'powder burners' and the odd air pistol, and I know there exist a learning curve to mastering the air rifle. I watch everything you've ever put out, and many of these videos multiple times. It will be a dream come true to finally say I own one of these amazing rifles. TY to both of you for your excellent videos, education, and entertainment. You are both outstanding shooters in your own right, and i hope at 61 years old to get competent with my new rifle. Cheers!
love the respect you have for farmers and folks land when your shooting there,if i had a farm, and had vermin problems, you 2 guys would be called, awesome vids and chat, well done guys,ps,i have same rifle and i love it.
Howdy from Texas, You boys sure can shoot, good clean humane shots with a minimum of wasted meat. I served with some Brits in Afghanistan, now I can see where ya'll learned how to shoot. Thank God we're on the same side ! lol Keep making these great videos.
Hi Mr. Pittaway I think you are the spokesman for the Weihrauch 97k you are excellent marksman I mostly see you with this rifle ! I got a few of your DVDs a few years ago , you are great !!! Peace .
Hi Roger, thanks buddy. I think the tune hasn't made the rifle any more accurate than the standard out the box rifle but what it as done has made it much easier to gain the accuracy I can from it. Davy is a very good shot so its expected that he does very well with his springer mate. When we shoot together its normal for almost every shot to be taken between 40 to 60 yards. Si.
Great video guys. I have the HW97KT Blackline in .22 and your video has given me the confidence to work on my distance shooting. Got it in SFS for a tune. 20 weeks wait...erk! I suppose perfection is well worth the wait. Cherrs...David
Hi mate, The wait will be well worth it i can tell you. Tony's work is second to none when it comes to tuning springers. We have not filmed part 3 yet buddy. Thanks for commenting. Si.
Congratulations for a brilliant video. Between .177 and .22 calibers which the best in 16J? Here in Brazil we do not limit the power of the air gun, but the discussion is large with respect to the best caliber. Many prefer the .177 jânio
what a great video you guys made! One day next year I will visit Sandwell Sports to tune my HW 77 k .177 and I need a thumbhole stock! I hope Tony have one for me !!? At my original pistol grip I get pain in my wrist . See you later. Thanks for the vid!
After seeing you with the rifle i bought one just to see how good they are. got to go to the range to zero it, then I'll be using it in the spring to hunt on my permission. Still us the R10 mk 2 in .22 as my standard go to rifle, they are brilliant
Hi guys ace video as per I’m looking to buy a decent springer mainly for target shooting as I don’t really have the thing for hunting. I understand why most people do it and don’t have a problem with humane kills, I’m just not into doing it myself so paper and tins it is for me 👍 Anyway I really do like the 97k but I also really like the 95k too and it’s a good bit cheaper. Is there any difference in accuracy and range between them? I’ve always had break barrel springers and know they are a bit lighter. Thanks martin
Excellent shooting by you two marksmen, when are you showing part 3 of the stage 2 SFS tune Si as i am interested in the hw97kt tuned by tony wall, i rang them this week and tony is on a deserved holiday but i shall place my order when he his back the waiting time is about 4 weeks but well worth the wait. thanks Barrie.
Hi Sir and Davy I have got a smk xs41 no where in the same league as your guns, how easy is it to get a springer tuned cheers again fantastic shooting please keep doing what you do
Hi si thanks for the vids. After many days trawling the net looking were to get my hw95 tuned. I came across this video. Just spoke to Tony and sending my rifle to him, shame it takes a month but I'm sure it will be worth it. Thanks again si,also can't seem to find part 3?
Fantastic shooting as always Si and Davy. If you ever need somebody to be your camera man or extra gun or even tea boy i can do it lol. The two shots on the pigeons that you both took, has the tuning made that much difference, because you both had shots of equal distance but Si your holdover was 2 less than Davy's.
Yet another top production guys. Always very interesting. Si, what LRF do you use mate? I rangefind (where I have to) using parallax/mag or bracketing. I need to up my game... Duncan
hello I'm french I have a little trouble with English? short I watch your video for more than two years I am and I wonder what mechanism you use for your vmatch hw97K? thank you and continue the video is great
Hi guys, good shooting!! What power has this gun as it is tuned, and what do they change in tuning!! The underlever ,isn,t it more clumsy than a break barrel with hunting!!!??
what pellets are you using h&n pellets are ment to be the best but im 15 and realey cant afford to buy those pellets do you have any suggestions on any other pellets i could use also great videos
Si I am a new owner of a HW97KT and wondered if you could give some advice about fitting a sling to my gun can it be done and if so what in your opinion is the best way to fit it
Nice shooting lads, where's the main difference in the tune, is it the lack recoil , as watching you take the first rabbit i noticed virtually no recoil?
Hi, I am lucky to live near Sandwell Field Sports and am popping there tomorrow to try this exact rifle. Speaking to Sol he advocates the 177 but I notice you use the 22, any reason?
Hi, I have been wathcing your youtube channel for some time and I wanted to let you know we all think you should not chnage your ranges. Treat any critisism as feedback and personal attacks (which seems to be the case with this one individual) as flattery. 1,903 have watched this video because they like your content and are smart enough to take what they need from it. If an individual does not like your product they don't have to watch,
Brilliant lads
Love the bit at end take 1 take 2 take 3 lol 😆
Great shooting Si , good to see you lazing all your quarry , even when something looks closer on open land can be deceptive , getting into the habbit of range finding and using your parralax settings to deadly accurate affect .good on yous

hello I'm french I have a little trouble with English? short
I watch your video for more than two years I am and I wonder what mechanism you use for your vmatch hw97K? thank you and continue the video is great
Hi guys, good shooting!! What power has this gun as it is tuned, and what do they change in tuning!! The underlever ,isn,t it more clumsy than a break barrel with hunting!!!??
So I'm lead to believe the 97 is the updated version of the 77 and with a added silencer.
some great shooting there chaps just go's to show what you can do with a good springer
Hallo Simon, your Weihrauch 97 is that in fact the same gunsystem as the 77k in .22 !!??? But only more luxury version!???
what pellets are you using h&n pellets are ment to be the best but im 15 and realey cant afford to buy those pellets do you have any suggestions on any other pellets i could use
also great videos
Si I am a new owner of a HW97KT and wondered if you could give some advice about fitting a sling to my gun can it be done and if so what in your opinion is the best way to fit it
They are both .22 calibre mate.
We use both .177 and .22.
Si.
Nice shooting lads, where's the main difference in the tune, is it the lack recoil , as watching you take the first rabbit i noticed virtually no recoil?
great shooting as usual lads. Si, what mounts are you using on your HW97KT they look pretty low? Is it a 50mm objective?
Love the video, just want to know are the Hw97's your using .177 or .22? Do you prefer one over the other?
I think my rifle is doing 11.7 with 14.66 grain pellets at the mo mate.
Well done guys...and Weihrauch FTW!
Hi Si & Davy. How much does Tony charge for a stage two tune on the 97kt. Excellent as usual lads.
hi mr pittaway what size are your scopes on your gun?
Hi, I am lucky to live near Sandwell Field Sports and am popping there tomorrow to try this exact rifle. Speaking to Sol he advocates the 177 but I notice you use the 22, any reason?
Cheers mate
do u know if Tony can ,and would do i tune on my Benjamin trail NP2.22? and how i would go about it?i live in the USA
What scope are you using and what would you recommend for this rifle? Thanks
nice fucking shot ha ha ha
So Davy shooting directly off a rest didn't affect accuracy?
Looks fairly well padded to me. Probably softer than his hand TBF.
What caliber 22 or 177
+soeun ngorn Si's is.22 and Davis I'm not sure, but I think it's .177.
@@wilsonsoaresdourado9493 oth guns are actually 22... they said at roughly 11min in
o and it is 19-22 foot lb gun..i know some places have laws about that
Totally with shortened piston and underlever hinge reshaped . Becomes a very accurate powerfull beast
What calibre
What cal are the weapons .177 or .22 cheers
what does Tony's tuning cost ?
Ryan Shakespeare
It's roughly £75 for stage 1
And £140 for stage 2 tuning
nice fishing hoody from aldi, iv got one two :P
That looks like a sak silencer, I just got one for my 97 KT.
are they .22 or .177
Si. I am your Rifle and the same scope from tony :). Im just not sure how you calibrate your scope and knowing how much hold over to give and stuff.
Practice .get a range finder and target scope .. youl soon put gge time in

Out take 3............."I've got a bit of a stalk on here" - I know shooting can be exciting but that's a bit too much information there Si !!
Great shooting guys. I have the same gun in .177 and take rabbits no problem.
