Thank thank thank you for a short to the point wonderful tutorial!!! I’ve had my scan n cut for over a year now and love learning new things but I don’t want to take a hour to learn!! So appreciate it!! ❤️
This is awesome! I have used metal dies for many years and have SO MANY OF THEM! This is a great way to still utilize them along with my Brother Scanncut. You can't believe how much guilt this alleviates.
Very true , these die’s are expensive! I love the shadow effect on word dies but couldn’t bring myself to buy them . Plus I love that with the scan n cut I can make the shadow a few sizes . ♥️
Totally Awesome instrction!. This is one of the main reasons I bought my machine...but couldn't find clear instructions on how to do this. This is a HUGH money savor. Thanks again. 😊
Diane, thank you so very much for this tutorial! I do have a question, can you point me to how to use this technique to create the shadow for two separate words that need to be in the same "bubble"? I have a Hello Friend die that is two pieces I would like to create a shadow for. Thank you!!
OMG! Diane! you just made my day! I have "the other" scanNcut, and yes I appreciate all those things, but I also appreciate the fact that I can not currently (or any near future see me buying the DX) but the idea of being able to use any of my die cut sentiments with a shadow..... wowsers!!!! Thank you for this! You mentioned the bag is in Canvas, I just opened my scanNcut canvas and did not see any fall bag, am I looking in the wrong area? Or is there a separate Canvas for the DX?
The DX was super easy . And my 250 was just a bit stubborn finding the internet for the first time. But that was years ago. So I’d say both we’re easy.💕
Very clever technique. I would never have thought of this

Diane you will not believe this, but I just made a card using that same die. Right before I put it on the card I wished I had a shadow for the word.
