What a serendipitous find! This very episode of The Danny Kaye Show is how I was introduced to Nana Mouskouri. I've been privileged to hear her sing live several times--magical moments. What a talented, gracious, and accomplished artist she is!
Hahahahahaha.... it's a miracle when three exceptional, talented, gifted and great artists makes you burst into laughter at the moment you feel rather low. The most extraordinary thing is that art speaks straight to the heart of the world without any prejudice and discrimination. Quality is the reason that gives art the ability to bring the world together! Thanks to their skillful performance I enjoyed the video a lot!!!!

I worked in the record department at Sears in 1976 & saw her records but never heard her sing. This lady with the glasses fascinated me, so many albums! Such a beautiful voice.

This is a divine treat - truly. To hear all the three legends singing a Greek song (whose words are not known to me at all) so immaculately and so movingly was unforgivable. May the cosmic forces bless the three of you. For an Indian, the Greek isles are always a passion. The Greeks did come to our land as invaders but they took back to their motherland many cultural and intellectual gifts from our shores. What a great fusion this was!

When Harry Bellafonte first asked Nana to join us to her he wanted her to lose her trademark glasses she was very upset by this very offended she said she would not even do the tour if she had to Lose the glasses so Harry Relented and she kept the glasses on! True story?

He was my first celebrity crush and still is. I remember my own father singing like Belafonte when I was a little girl. He was pretty good at it, too.
