Just know that as the pistons get longer the drill will become increasingly unstable.

How do you get the refinery to smelt stone?

Make sure it's ported correctly, or drag it in manually.

As long as everything is connected, it should all flow on its own. If your cargo containers are full of stone though, the refinery fills up and can't empty the ingots and stops.
