Playing a show with this band is honestly one of the highlights of my mostly uneventful music “career”. They were such cool dudes. Ill never forget being completely disassociated by the sounds and their obscenely bright stage lighting. This was back in ‘08 I think. It was so good and they just got better and better over the years.

I think more songs need to have music videos like this. As a person with low grade synesthesia (the sensory pairing of music to colors), it is really aesthetically pleasing to me when a music video is colored the same way that a song is colored in my brain. And Car Bomb have done that with music video. The shapes, images, and colors seen here are a perfect visual representation of the song, and because of that, it made listening to the track a 10x better experience. I hope that Car Bomb continues to utilize this style of music video and that more artists and music video directors adopt this technique in the future of portraying as accurate of a visual representation of the song as possible.

Since 'Centralia' i have worshiped at the sonic altar of Car Bomb. They are an artistic collective that continue to construct convulsive, cinematic and savage monoliths of sound that are both bludgeoning and technically otherworldly in equal measure. I mean, i thought Centralia was the shit, then we got WW and that was even better. Meta then went on to crush it YET HERE WE ARE WITH A TRACK THAT OUTDOES THEIR ENTIRE DISCOGRAPHY ON GUITAR TONE ALONE.

Stopped by real quick to ask.. no beg that you guys get anywhere near Tennessee so I can see y’all! Been my favorite band consistently for going on 4 years now. Bought every album which is a rare thing for me. The music is absolutely perfect and pulled me out of such a bleak hole of boredom with heavy music. At first you don’t know what to expect. And then when you learn the songs you’re just like “holy Shit how did they even do that” and you feel accomplished for just knowing where things are. Contrary to the old saying: QUIT YOUR DAY JOBS. You guys are geniuses.
