#Background: Built by General Motors using automobile assembly techniques, 12,921 GMC motorhomes were produced from model years 1973 to 1978. Over 7,000 are currently listed at the GMCMI.com international registry. Estimates suggest that at least 8,000 to 9,000 of the original production run are still in operating condition.

Why can't any one or any shop or restorer make further up take on GMC Motorhome Van with 2 axles up front and 4 wheels/ front drive / front steer van .? Incude 1 swaybar per axle for improved performance.I hope anyone would do.Thanks

I imagine it's because the current design is perfect for the application. Turn radius is great and the included swaybar does the trip. It's so low to the ground that the GMC Motorhome doesn't suffer from the same steering issues as truck or bus derived RVs.
