Sep 13, 2021 I would've loved to have had you has my instructor when I trained. You already gave me more info than what I spent nearly a year in a horrible school. This is why nail techs should be like tattoo artists, we should be apprentice only. Because schools don't teach you the way an actual nail tech does. Actually there are some people who talk about how school is designed to make you fail and just how it's not functional like it should be. See the fact how it makes you unprepared for actual life and it's not even geared towards getting people to want to learn but instead feel inadequate for continual education. Whenever I watch your videos it makes me wish I tried out for actual nail tech. I only went to schooling, got certified, but there isn't anything here for me in my city that would actually get me to grow. As far as I've been aware. Also I just didn't even know how to find such as workplace that actually would benefit me as a budding, basically uneducated nail tech. That school literally taught me nothing except how to sanitize. In the end it's wonderful, like extremely, to see women like you who enjoy your work and talk, actually talk, about the techniques instead of making it confusing. Or that you need to keep all your knowledge to yourself. Thank you for being an amazing teacher. :D
I'm a nail instructor at a beauty school now. Everything you said, I experienced it as a student. It's sad!!! That's why I went back to get my instructor license to be who I needed. Even then the school director told me to scale back with all i was teaching outside of their set curriculum that I'm only supposed to teach them State board. I still have my way of making sure I set them up for success outside of school. Videos like this are extremely appreciated

I think your wonderful. Thank you for all of your tips, they are most helpful. As you give us so many tips and I know you like tips to help with your pronunciation of the English language, I thought I would let you know that your pronouncing base coat and top coat etc incorrectly. Your pronouncing "coat" as "cot" it's pronounced like "goat" but with a c instead. I hope this helps you out as much as you help us. Thanks again ❤️🙏🏼
