He was visiting BAMC (Brook Army Medical Center) in San Antonio to visit the troops, because he obviously cares, and when he asked about a few buildings sitting near the hospital he was told those are for visitors that are there to see their sons and daughters staying in the hospital. He mentioned that there wasn't very many of them and was told there really wasn't enough room for the visitors and that those visiting got to stay there for free. H whipped out his checkbook and wrote a check for 100K to help pay for more visitors quarters. Being a vet and having been to that hospital brought a tears to my eyes. So not ALL Hollywood people are ass holes, there is, at least one, that actually cares about someone else but themselves.

That validates that he holds a high regard for education. He's also quite generous with his time towards helping others. In terms of jobs, I can vouch that he is generous as a producer of a film in that he pays his actors well with time and a half and double time. If he acts in a film, he provides jobs for people with film crew abilities as well wherever that movie is shooting.
