Me too. I think 1-2 mil is sufficient so you can spread your love to more people. Also donate to "aliens" who are not recognised as Vietnamese (although they have Vietnamese blood in their veins) but are living in fear of being repatriated back to the country they came from.

I am an American and can now speak Vietnamese at an intermediate level. I believe there is nothing more rewarding than helping people out (financially or otherwise) and I plan to imitate your style in giving. So much more joy in giving than receiving. Hand out the li xi and don't wait for them to open it. It's easy to just imagine the joy they will feel. I laughed when you mentioned being called by "Chú". The same thing happened to me recently at a siêu thị Việt Nam in Dallas. I actually addressed the seller by "Bạn"and expected to be called back by bạn or Anh, as I thought the seller actually looked older than me. I just told myself that well at least he didn't address me by "Bác" or "Ông". LOL

I was worried that she thought you wanted her to help throw away the trash, and then just threw the red envelope away! Có 1 điều k phải ai cũng làm được như bạn. Đó là khi làm video lì xì tiền tết cho mọi người,bạn không quay cảnh họ bóc bao lixi và cảm giác họ thế nào. Nhiều người sẽ cảm thấy hụt hẫng khi không thấy cảnh đó. Nhưng không quay lại như vậy mới hay,để sau họ tự bóc ra khi biết số tiền họ sẽ rất cảm động và biết ơn bạn
Nếu Max quay lại cảnh bóc bao lì xì thì hơi thiếu tế nhị cho nên ko quay là điều hay nhất.
