"I thought you were goood at the sportsss" "I AM, I AM. I AM GOOD AT THE SPORTS" oscar and ernest's dynamic is one of my favorites they're so great and only two more episodes!! uh oh
Random Reviews plot twist: everyone was the killer. they all tried to murder eachother at some point. Agatha Christie somehow stabbed herself in the back, Poe killed Eddy, Oscar Wilde killed Eliot, etc.
I'd say Eddie asked Annabel to invite the authors, so he could fake his death and kill them one by one. As said, he never appeared when Krishanti brought the spirits back. And even if it was Annabel, I highly doubt she would kill Eddie. And the hands that choked Krishanti was a man's.
that was 1 of the theories of me and my friend but one thing is bothering me...he could never be back in the vault in time, UNDER all the bodies...They would surely see if suddenly a body is missing...
I don’t know if we’ve paid enough attention to Sinéad’s incredible delivery of “Idiots... all around me, what has my afterlife become?” That’s a like that gets me every time
Some of my favorite lines/moments; "I have a costume ball to attend next week and I'd PREFER not to die tonight!" "DON'T DO MURDER!" "Well...not gonna say I didn't see that coming." "Your boy and I were a thing!" *GASP* Charlotte pulling the sports section of a newspaper out of nowhere "We don't know the extent of your ghost pOWers" "Cut her off? Cut off her HEAD? Is THAT what this is about?" "It was always you..."
Tawdry yeah she could be Dante's accomplice. because she claimed to be expert nurse and maybe dantes did some weird things to stop his pulse and her saying that made it even more convincing.
Tawdry yeah she could be Dante's accomplice. because she claimed to be expert nurse and maybe dantes did some weird things to stop his pulse and her saying that made it even more convincing.
Holy Shit. That didn't even occur to me! There was no point at which Lenore had time to explain how HG Wells died, and the only way for somebody to know is if Lenore or the killer had told them, or if they were the killer. This combined with the fact that nobody accused Charlotte of anything this week definitely points towards her being either killer or accomplice.
OddUndeniably i think knowing Dantes shady rep he may have worked with charlotte and with annabel separately. annabel might have no idea that charlotte and dantes worked together. lenore's exfiancee said she is not A. Bell. could it be that dantes was blackmailing 'Annabel' to reveal her true identity or something else to reveal about her. and thus why she had to do his bidding and plan the murders. and charlotte did openly say she wanted to have a relationship with Dantes. They could be plotting together and using Annabel as a main tool.
Eddie, Charlotte, and Annabel are all in on it. The two were the ones who checked Eddie's pulse. They were also the ones who had direct/indirect influence on the authors' death. Like when Charlotte redirected Mary Shelley to the door that electrocuted her or the fact that she was the only one with Fyodor. She also spilled wine on Oscar which prompted him to go to the bathroom which was his supposed murder location. Annabel was the one who invited the authors. She was also missing when George and Agatha were killed. She was very uncomfortable during the seance and Krishanti's face when she touched Annabel's hair said it all. And why was the seance abruptly ended? Because Charlotte killed Krishanti's candle when she sneezed. Eddie killed Annabel because she was about to get cornered. And it's interesting how the authors didn't talk about Charlotte during their blame game this episode.
Exactly my thoughts! But I feel like they both didn't know the other is in on it, hence Charlotte pinning the blame on her so often. They also had that scene where Charlotte said if she knew Eddie he wouldn't be dating Annabel. I think Eddie is the mastermind behind it all and he's been manipulating both Charlotte and Annabel into working for him. Annabel ended up feeling like Eddie had betrayed her and ran (resulting in her death)
Who here would have liked it if (Regardless of who the actual killer(s) might end up to be) the group had become convinced that it was Edgar, but rather than have him take the fall, Annabel had tried to convince everyone that SHE was the killer, and Edgar would have insisted it was him, then, and they had argued back and forth trying to spare the other by taking the blame themselves? Why do I think this would have been great? Because it would have given them a chance to have Annabel look directly at Edgar and pronounce "It's not you, it's me!" Get it?
Woah! Did NOT see that coming! I guess now we know why Edgar goes off and writes the poem 'Annabel Lee'. That was actually pretty sad - especially with the silent credits. Great episode, so many gif-able moments - I will see you all on Tumblr!
Ok my theory now is that Eddie is the mastermind of the murders, and Annabel and Charlotte were/are both accomplices but they don't know the other one was an accomplice.
This is when I knew it: How did Charlotte know about the smoke that killed H.G.? The only ones there were Lenore and H.G. himself and then can't have talked about it off camera, because we see every moment since on screen. Also Krishanti's murderer had gloves and we have seen every character enter with gloves except for Poe, Annabel and Eddie. I knew he was alive.
Someone had to: It was many and many a year ago, In a kingdom by the sea, That a maiden there lived whom you may know By the name of Annabel Lee; And this maiden she lived with no other thought Than to love and be loved by me. It does appear that the common thread linking together all of the attendees is Eddie, who also did not appear when the other ghosts were summoned. Did Eddie create this scheme to fake his own death assisted by Annabel? Did he then, without telling her, plot to kill all the other attendees who he had some dispute with? Did she therefore run because she realized it and couldn't face the guilt? She stopped on the bridge, rather than turning and running. Her handkerchief did end up somewhere that she didn't put it - the only other person who had believable access to her handkerchiefs would be her boyfriend, Eddie. After being put in the vault, it would have been relatively simple for Eddie to commit the murders face to face in some parts of the house, and with set-ups that didn't require his presence like the smoke, the poison, and the electrocution in others. Additionally, from a narrative standpoint, the only person who hasn't at some point been accused of one or more of the murders is Eddie, as he was the first victim. Although, this being said, the only survivor in this weeks episode who was not accused was Charlotte, who was very eager to accuse Annabel. The authors have used connections to Eddie to prove motive for his murder up to this point, with the defense almost every time being the now classic 'how do you explain the others then?'. In fact, the only person without a clear motive for killing Eddie (or for Eddie killing them) was Annabel, his girlfriend. Her death made Eddie a more confusing killer, right up until Annabel's last words: if Annabel loved Edgar the whole time that she was dating Eddie, then him killing her makes a whole lot more sense.
Maybe eddie is gay and was dating annabel just to get close to all these authors, and maybe he was planning to frame her for it (hence the hankerchief) and so he was using her in all respects
Charles Dickens is the killer. That is my prediction and i base it on nothing. I normally don`t really care for youtube series. But this one is really good
Okay Shipwrecked, look. This a my eighth time watching this episode and I (just about) understand why you needed to kill Annabel off but DID YOU REALLY NEED TO CUT THE CREDIT MUSIC?! DON'T LEAVE TIME FOR US TO CRY!
It has to be Eddie! He was using the elavator to move quickly around the house plus everyone has a connection to him! He also was the only one in the room when they rushed to find Louisa dead so he left the note! He killed Annabell, Krishanti, and Emily because they all saw him and he couldn't let his identity be revealed! I can't wait for the next episode! Also WHY DID YOU HAVE TO KILL ANNABELL! DOES THIS MEAN SHE WONT EVER COME BACK IN ANY OTHER PROJECTS!
Even though I like Annabel a lot, this may be a possibility because the murderer and her looked like they were talking for a moment. That or it may be it was Eddie and she was talking abt how surprised she was that he was still alive.
i think so too. She was always the one sorta directing everybody else's outrage/investigations, while being too nice. I dont think she was a willing accomplice if "it was always" Edgar though, maybe Eddie was blackmailing her too?
"Hell hath no fury like an Oscar Wilde scorned" boy he actively let Bosie ruin him and did nothing but keep a "yes dear" attitude, no way he's the killer
Theory: It was Charlotte. She knew about the smoke, and she also said that she would go a different way and wasn’t that invested in catching Annabel. The killer approached from the opposite direction, at an unhurried speed. She was trying to cast suspicion on everyone else.
Came back to watch this masterpiece, FAVE always! Something I didn't notice the first time is how the speed of the intro's music increases after each murder, it's brilliant and hilarious.
I think they are all in it together. It’s all a big joke on Poe. Lenore got sick of his melancholy drama and sent an extra letter to all the other guests. They are all working together to massively prank Poe. Agatha is the master mind behind most of it (see And Then There Were None and Murder on the Orient Express). Think about it. Poe hasn’t pronounced anyone dead, he’s super flustered while everyone else is staying pretty cool, and everyone else is being ridiculously careless about finding the murderer and making accusations. All of the deaths could have been easily faked. Agatha showed up late because she was getting things running. They knew she was going to be late! Then she dies. The police are idiots and probably added by Agatha to further confuse Poe. In the end, they will all be alive and have made what was going to be a dreadfully awful night at Poe’s house much much more fun. Idk, just my fun theory. I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK! :D
listen this is highkey my favorite episode because the whole blaming section is just so awesome and brilliantly written and directed. how can you not fall in love with them circling annabel like sharks? and the ending legit makes me cry over long dead authors. (ALSO THE SILENT CREDITS I MEAN)
This has been such a brilliant series. It is wonderfully fitting that it will conclude on Halloween, and yet, I don't want it to end! I really wish I could be a part of creating a series like this.
I friend just discovered me this. I can't thank her enough, this Murder Paarty is amazing!! I've seen all the episodes without stopping. You are brilliant! Can't wait until next episode!
Gerbils rawr I saw this as a "Gay or European" reference and I've never heard of such a thing (and I live in Europe and whilst culture can be different depending on the country, I haven't heard of such a thing). I'm not saying it's not true, just that I've never heard of it.
annaBEL NO WHY I DON'T EVEN KNOW I'M SO CONFUSED WHO DID IT WHO DARE KILL INNOCENT CINNABUN DEAREST ANNABEL LEE AND I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK NOW I HAVE TO THEORIZE FOR 6 MORE DAYS I CAN DO THIS
no ooooooo ooo what what gehhh the feels. also this series is so great. it makes my Mondays so much better and it's so well put together. I am really loving this series. yay shipwreck!!
1. Clock goes crazy
2. Camera spontaneously turns on
Conclusion: HG is doing it
My favorite theory in the entire comments section.
pisoprano How Dare You.
Yes please
Absolutely
Dude that is... An amazing revelation
If H.G. Wells and Annabel don't come back at the end as ghosts to be with Lenore and Poe respectively I'm going to be very upset.
Got some good news for you....
They actually appear in the epilogue
There's a Christmas special.
"Don't do murder!" almost made me spit my soup across the screen. Then, the end...*cries*
'Your boy and I were a thing'
That and MK gasping immediately after made me laugh so hard
For one night!
Can we appreciate Mary Kate and Sean in that last scene because OH MY GOD. That must have been an emotional one to shoot!
Gosh yes.
Right! Those tears in his eyes are so heartbreaking.
Yes! That last bit totally got to me! Are they together IRL?
+Tatiana Cueto go to their Instagram and you can see for yourself
Dinah, I would, but unfortunately I don't have an instagram. :/

"What to do in Case Your Dinner Party Turns Into A Mass Homicide" bahaha and the way they act each other based on their writings is my favorite!
it turns out the killer was...OUTSIDE THE HOUSE!

Ikr Idk
True love ❤️

Zoe Man I love this theory!
that was 1 of the theories of me and my friend but one thing is bothering me...he could never be back in the vault in time, UNDER all the bodies...They would surely see if suddenly a body is missing...
Thats my sister and I's theory too!
Bodies are wrapped up. Doubt it would take much to make something to fake them out.
Same theory!
What if it's Jules Verne killing off the other writers so Poe has no one to talk to but him?
I screamed
This is the best theory. All the other theories should just go home
Holy crap it must be.
LOL
you can tell they’re theater kids by the way they talk about sports
"Perhaps you and the raven fetishist were in on it together!" I about died laughing at that one. Brilliant as always.

I Love This Comment!! Yay legally blonde
bambiplushie YAASS! Legally Blonde!
of any reference I expected to find in the poe party comments legally musical was not one of them... I can't say I'm disappointed though!
Caitlin I mean, I think the reference was intentional in the episode too
“YOUR BOY AND WERE A THING”
my favorite line so far
"A lie sandwich." I'll have to use this again at some point.
Omg I thought H.G.Wells was bad, this is heartbreaking. 💔
Hemingway calling Poe a "raven fetishist" IS MY FAV LINE
OH HELL NO SHE BETTER NOT BE DEAD. Poe's life is already so depressing omg
"A lie on a lie on another lie..." "A LIE SANDWICH", is, upon rewatching the whole show, still my favourite line.
You guys, this was supposed to be a comedy and it wasn't supposed to make me ugly cry.
How did Charlotte know about the smoke?
Very good point.
Tawdry yeah she could be Dante's accomplice. because she claimed to be expert nurse and maybe dantes did some weird things to stop his pulse and her saying that made it even more convincing.

Arianne Nguyen OMG Bronte could be the murderer
Or an accomplice!
Seeing this thread eight years later is amazing, how did it feel knowing that Apollo hit you all with his dodgeball?
my theory, its eddie who faked his death and is killing them off! he's the common thread that ties them all.
Deborah Li that's what I was thinking
Mary Kate's faces during Constable Jim's story were amazing, btw
Eddie, Charlotte, and Annabel are all in on it. The two were the ones who checked Eddie's pulse. They were also the ones who had direct/indirect influence on the authors' death. Like when Charlotte redirected Mary Shelley to the door that electrocuted her or the fact that she was the only one with Fyodor. Eddie killed Annabel because she was about to get cornered. And it's interesting how the authors didn't talk about Charlotte during their blame game this episode.

I also just noticed this: What did Charlotte bring to the potluck? A bottle of wine. What if that was what killed the cops?
Caroline Prince could've been added later though
Oh thats why said it was always, before confessing her love.

I love how delighted Oscar is by everyone's sick burns.

I and my Annabel Lee-
With a love that the wingèd seraphs of Heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!-that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in Heaven above
Nor the demons down under the sea
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling-my darling-my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea-
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
You've been waiting for this since the series started, haven't you?

The authors have used connections to Eddie to prove motive for his murder up to this point, with the defense almost every time being the now classic 'how do you explain the others then?'. In fact, the only person without a clear motive for killing Eddie (or for Eddie killing them) was Annabel, his girlfriend. tbh though who wouldn't kill all their friends for a date with Oscar?
OddUndeniably that sounds probable.
Charles Dickens is the killer.
That is my prediction and i base it on nothing.
I normally don`t really care for youtube series. But this one is really good
I love how poe says lenore is carrying around hgs body but hg is just lying on the stairs 😂
Okay Shipwrecked, look. This a my eighth time watching this episode and I (just about) understand why you needed to kill Annabel off but DID YOU REALLY NEED TO CUT THE CREDIT MUSIC?! DON'T LEAVE TIME FOR US TO CRY!
sorry bout that ;-)
It has to be Eddie!
I still hold that Anabelle was the assistant murderer. Was being the key word.
Even though I like Annabel a lot, this may be a possibility because the murderer and her looked like they were talking for a moment. That or it may be it was Eddie and she was talking abt how surprised she was that he was still alive.
why would she have called out about the poison then? she would have discretely taken it.
Amy Austin So she wouldn't look suspicious I assume!
Yeah because why would she run away from them if she didn't have something to do with it?
i think so too. She was always the one sorta directing everybody else's outrage/investigations, while being too nice. I dont think she was a willing accomplice if "it was always" Edgar though, maybe Eddie was blackmailing her too?
8:10 please, tell us more about the old man.... and the boat
Solid fucking burn
Dante told Annable to invite everyone, pretended to die and killed everyone with Charlotte's help. Guy is im there so,ewhere.
Oscar and Eddie! Hemingway and his honor! Mustache stroking! Annabel! So many things, just shouting really!
kleffnotes did u catch where Edgar said to Ernest, “Well, you were in bed with him another way,” after Oscar was done talking about Eddie 😂😂😂😂
The only time Ernest gave Oscar a compliment was when he was holding back
Wow this ended up being sadder than I was expecting
Ernest tries to pour some of his drink on HG, I'm dying.
"It was always you" now I'm srcreaming
I really love Lenore getting up on her toes to see the front of the paper when Charlotte holds it up in front of her.
The way Oscar pronounced 'eternity' is one of the funniest things I've ever heard. I adore this series so much, god bless you Shipwrecked.
"Hell hath no fury like an Oscar Wilde scorned" boy he actively let Bosie ruin him and did nothing but keep a "yes dear" attitude, no way he's the killer
I suspect Ashley's character because Sinead's character never said anything about how H. G. died but she somehow knew how he died.
And I thought last week was sad... now I'm crying real tears. No one is safe. So many emotions.
Love how they just say "sports" rather than specific ones
Well thanks didn't need that knife to my heart today
Poor Annabel, I'm sorry for suspecting you :(
My favorite part about this is how the opening song gets slowly faster every time
*”Well, now that you’ve killed HG Wells, you can both haunt this place FOR ALL ETERNITAYY”*
I love how the authors all doe the way their characters did
So the constable was on a ship were the crew kept disappearing and eventually everyone was murdered.
It's Dracula! :D
what if the murderer is Victor Hugo
I would be so happy bc tbh when this series was announced the one thing I wanted out of it was a Hugo cameo
Plot twist.
Although, why would it be him?
ZainR he murders all his characters why wouldn't he murder real people?
ZainR He's also a major author who has yet to be mentioned at all. Certainly not the only one, but he's in there.
Theory: It was Charlotte. She knew about the smoke, and she also said that she would go a different way and wasn’t that invested in catching Annabel. The killer approached from the opposite direction, at an unhurried speed. She was trying to cast suspicion on everyone else.
Oscar being totally done with Poe's dramatic Nevermore killed me! 🤣🤣🤣

I really liked the ending, but I would've also loved the idea of Annabel being the killer
What the...WHAT??!! First our precious H.G. Wells and now the only girl poor Eddie has ever loved?! They better start bringing back those spirits soon
A week ago, I thought nothing could cause more feels than watching H.G. Wells die in Lenore's arms. Oh how young and naive I was then
This is probably my favorite episode so far.
DID YOU JUST--REALLY??? REALLY???? AND I HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK?! AHHHHHHH
I think this gets better and better every week.
Literally sobbing right now. Poe!!!! My poor baby. Mary Kate -- the delivery of that last line was perfect. And Sean's tear-brimmed eyes. You guys!
