As a middle child with two 2 year old siblings, I would be heartbroken if they passed so soon 🥺 may that baby rest in peace, away from those monsters that strangled it. GUYS I GET IT THE CLOTH STRANGLED IT JUST LET ME GRIEF FOR THE POOR BABY DAMMIT
For those who didn’t read it right, the nurse did not strangle the baby, the baby was strangled by a cloth that the nurse had tied to the crib, it was a sad but tragic accident.
I’m gonna cry I have a brother who’s only 1 and I AHVE a huge heart for babies so I can’t think of them getting hurt or I will sob this is so terrible may that baby rest in peace
I do t get why back then there was so much bad things like baby’s passing a young ages and kids passing at young ages like a parent should never get there child or children taken away and them end up never seeing them again! I know there are still bad places out there but it’s way better then back then and out modern stuff is helping young children and baby’s have a great life.
So, not so fun fact. Many sanatoriums we’re almost empty most of the time, usually only half full and over staffed. So whenever massive diseases would come out -think chicken pox/measles/mumps- they would dedicate certain floors to these outbreaks.
Oh my god that nurse was such a monster makes me rethink how my late mom really passed away in the old folks home she was in because my aunt gave me suspicions by telling me my late mom had strangling marks on her neck but later she said it was because my late mom had a heart attack and from other stuff like Alzheimer's and dimenshia.
I wouldn’t really say the nurse was horrible without making assumptions? Cloth could mean anything, including a blanket or towel or anything like that. Back in those days there weren’t hospital regulations about keeping things minimal. The nurse may have thought that the cloth being there would have been beneficial to the baby or its care, but we can never know. I’m sure the nurse would have lived in regret surrounding it. Making assumptions about medical care a century ago and how terrible someone may have been isn’t a very productive thing when we have no idea about the realities.
Sad. I thought you were going to try to find out what happened to them after they got better. This was not to ending I had expected. Extra sad because the parents TRUSTED these people to care for their baby during his/her illness. You don’t expect a baby to get tangled and strangle to death while in nurses’ care.😢
Some People can't be trusted yk? It's like they gain their trust at first and destroy it. It's just messed up 15 months old?! What kind of parent let's their 15 month old child suffer from people that can't be trusted?! It's just not right.
Who in god's name just abandons a young baby in an Asylum because they got sick?!? What kind of sick person would do that- also who in God's name would tie a cloth (a clear strangle/choking hazard) to the crib?!? Absolutely fucked up,
It’s probably bc at the time especially for a few month old baby, Measles were more dangerous than it is for us today. They probably admitted their child to the sanitarium hoping they could cure the baby but they were wrong, im sure they weren’t planning on dumping their baby there forever, sanitariums were like hospitals in a way. But whatever that nurse did to that baby is a completely different story
I’m calling bs on this- it’s doubt an abandoned building almost 100 years old would not be somewhat structurally unstable. Plus 90 year old paper would not look that good :/
For clarification; the nurse did not strangle the baby. The nurse tied a cloth to the baby's crib which ended up strangling it.
Exactly but the question is why?
@@TocaAdele_1 Are you asking why she put a cloth there or why the baby strangled on it?

A sanatorium is basically a place where people with contagious diseases/viruses go to be cured

I believe an asylum had to do with mental health and a sanitorium was a word for a hospital.
