(On mobile, please forgive the text wall) I hadn't been playing D&D for very long before I witnessed my first PC romance. One on my buddies, let's call him Logan, decided that his character Lucy was going to seduce the next non-human creature she saw. Our DM heaed about this and decided for that creature to be a Elder Blue Dragon. Seeing as she is a half dragon, Logan shrugged and said "Aight, bet." This dragon was attacking the small town we were in and was blasting the keep with barrages of lightning. Half of our group (a party of 12 minus the DM) was on the ground help civies while the other half was on the castle walls trying to calm the beast. My character, a human fighter who knew how to speak Draconic, overheard the ENTIRE CONVERSATION. Lucy tried to roll flirt with this dragon THREE times before it got bored and dropped down to the portcullis. She tried rolling flirt one more time... She got a natural 20... The dragon said something along the lines of " Now that I get a close look at you, you are rather fetching. Climb on my back and we shall go somewhere more... private." She does such and the sapphire serpent flies off into the distance. Lucy didn't return to us for a good week. Her clothes were missing and she was covered in scratches. Plus, she was absolutely delirious and had the world's largest grin on her face. Two in game months later, we found out that she had gotten PREGNANT. About seven months later, she lays two dragon eggs, a blue one and a red one. After a while they hatched into two baby dragons that followed her everywhere until the were about two years old when they decided to fly off on their own. We haven't seen them since.
Sounds like your DM is setting up for a Deus Ex Machina. When all seems hopeless, two dragons are gonna come flying in from fucking nowhere to save your asses
I played a D&D game that had someone with furry tendencies as a GM. I looked over the numbers and he'd given leopards a very high bonus to stealth. So what the hell I thought, I made a thief. We were in a kingdom and the fighters were giving the cat some shit saying why doesn't he just go seduce a princess or something. Then they called 'no balls' and he said 'fine!' So the cat with a string of luck only a cat could have made it into the castle. Then met the princess and through a critical success seduced her. The next morning all hell broke loose with an army of troops seeking the beast who had defiled the princess. The kingdom became a pain in our ass for the entire campaign because of assassins and bounties on our heads. During the rest of the campaign whenever someone suggested the thief couldn't do something everyone else jumped on them and told them to shut up before they got everyone killed. Much later he returned to the kingdom after doing shenanigans such as leaving the heads of assassins in the king's room (cat bringing in dead things for presents!) he married the disgraced princess because his reputation got around the cultural and political hangups. Then using his wealth and power he took over the kingdom complete with the title of crown prince. He was so loved because of his charisma that was augmented by magical items that no one who opposed him spoke where they might be heard. Being a thief and a bit of a spy he had a network of informants to handle such things. He'd also done things like invest and buy profitable companies with his earnings as opposed to the other player characters.
Everyone knows cats have the highest charisma stats in the whole animal kingdom. They can be fat, lazy dick holes who wreck your furniture, vomit all the time and scratch the shit out of you. But you still love your little death beast. And that's before the toxoplasmosis modifiers are factored.
TheBronf that’s how it worked in that game. Real world rules don’t apply to fantasy games. We almost always use a simplified system because it's about gameplay, not looking up technicalities of real life royalty.
@@piercesg I mean within reason. A super high Str stat doesn't mean you can punch a mountain over. Super high CHA doesn't mean you can talk everyone into doing everything you want them to.

Story time ! In a d&d campaign I played a free dark elf named Tami. Her whole squad had made fun and disrespected her every word on which she would respond but one day the leader and Wizard names chakak( some complicated name no one could pronounce lol) made a hurtful comment basically " she should of died when she was abandoned by her parents." She had it and beat up the wizard the crew threw her off and told her to go cool off. She she ran into the forest removing her face bandages revealing her torn face from when she fell down a mountain as a baby (well thrown down by her parents) , she looked at her reflection crying. Then the paliden kajit tyi- ji -[this was a elderscroll campaign] came to her side even though he participated in her taunting he comforted her telling her she was beutiful because of what's inside. She hugged him and from then they hit it off becoming a thing , tyi even defended her against the rude remarks. After the campaign the dm said that the 2 went off to live in the mountains and started a family going on further adventures Hope you enjoy
My turn!!! My time playing a campaign with a teifling warlock was quite interesting when your playing a stoic edge lord while the rest of the party is hitting on each other. So while were traveling towards the main capital, I asked my own contracted other worldly being what type of love interest would they be interested in. Two things to note before hand. Firstly, my contracted being has no form whatsoever only darkness with multiple forms talking in sync from what I was told. Secondly, our DM is really anime, romance and all that other gushy stuff. So anyway, she along with everybody at the table, gave me this "Oh no, what are doing you fool" look. Then she those words, "Roll to seduce". End up rolling high cause of my insanely overwhelming charisma and then she rolled a nat 1. Long story short, I end up becoming a demonic being's lover and whenever I try to bluff/seduce any humanoid type creature or vice virsa, our dm would make sure of it to remind me of who's watching by adding into my interactions by say "as this is happening, you feel cold hands run down my back" or "you feel like a wife's scorn is burning into the back of your masked head". But have to admit that having a demon as a life partner in both cases have it advantages in between adventures. Morale of the story, don't tempt the dm or the party.
@@jessjackdaw yes Anime Dm xD once I was in a anime campaign and the dm had sheshomuru( excuse my spelling )) sweep me away on his scarf XD I cant think about it without laughing
Love the art style. and the Oc of yours is, actually very clever and well made. For such a horrifying entity to look so cute without being a complete anime-design look of the Eyeball is impressive.
I was the monster seducer in my campaign. I was an Aasimar Cleric of the goddess of sex, and I talked to my dm before the campaign because I wanted a very dumb character who had very high charisma. I was just talking to him about it, but he said "Alright, what about this? You can have 20 charisma, but 4 intelligence" and I immediately said yes. This begun the adventure of Shanna, who dated everything her party couldn't easily defeat. The first was a local necromancer that the party wasn't supposed to fight yet. Two pcs down, three left, and Shanna. Necromancer is on half health, roughly. Shanna, being Shanna, decides that this is not gonna end well, even if she could have just healed the fallen. Against her party's wishes, which she usually followed, she walks up to the necromancer and does what I call the "SAW", the Strip and Wink. I roll performance to remove my armour in an alluring manner, which if successful, I get advantage on a persuade. I had high performance AND pursuade, so I absolutely nailed it. 24 first roll for persuasion. DM is regretting giving me 20 cha. Shanna smooches the necromancer, and the guy lets the party go if Shanna stays with them. Shanna, being a dumbass, agrees and heals her friends so they can leave. Next session, I rolled a wisdom to find my way out, and I do. Shanna walks up to her party, fresh from frickin the necromancer, and they begin going. Our DM is sadistic in his means, so he usually gives us hard bosses. I seduce the ones we couldn't defeat without actually being smart players. Which we aren't.
As much as I hate to be THAT GUY...that feels like another situation where DMs just outright forget the whole "Oh, yeah, this guy's actually a necrophile and he's boning a zombie. As seductive as you are, you just can't seem to get his mana flowing. Roll your dex save, please." Perfect rolls don't always lead to success. Sometimes you can try to seduce someone who just is not into that, and it won't work.
I so love my followers of Arshea, nothing like a Paladin with Arshea as a god/dess. If you want to make other party members uncomfortable, take the animal speaker class....
Throwing one of my campaign fav stories! Hope you like it enough to give it life! So me and 5 other adventurers (sp?) Which consisted of two clerics, 1 barbarian, 1 fighter, 1 sorcerer, and me a rouge. This particular campaign had been known for a few..... zany mishaps, due to our barbarian and sorcerer. Well this particular story.... is by far one of my favorites. It was about how the barbarian saved the world with the power of love. So, toward the end of campaign, we were faced with the bad guy of all bad guys who was this teifling warlock, and when the barbarian failed to hit ( he was the last chance to end the warlock) he decided to use a second action to pull out a box from his pocket, get one knee, and make a bluff...... yup. He ended up interrupting the villains monologue with a witty pun inclusion (a pick-up line that trailed off with what the warlock was monologue about) and purposed to the warlock. And guess what DM rolled a NAT 1 to his bluff...... they were married in the spring. The theme was a garden of love...... and yes.... they ARE still happily married.
Richard, my human alchemist attempted (and succeeded in) seducing Medusa in a one shot. He wore a blindfold, ala BirdBox, rolled surprisingly well on charisma checks, for someone who had very little charisma, and got some tail.
I think you mean "Head." ...as Medusai are a buncha tiny little snake heads growing out of a bigger head. Okay, perhaps the joke doesn't quite work here. ...gad, there's so much material for humor in this comment section.
Nice, how'd he do on the endurance roll? She's a snake person so. 8 our copulation sessions. ...did you know that? Yeah if you're in a relationship with a lamia, a Yuan-ti a medusa ANY of em, you're in it for the long haul.
*....GREAT. Now I'm going to reference this as one of my characters, Ka-Ka the Dragonic Biologist.* "I remember meeting a dwarf awhile back, he said he 'tried' to wow a doppelganger without know she was a doppelganger. I think that dwarfs in Mlimers." - Ka-Ka
Well, I do hear the Spectators like to watch. ... I'M SORRY. I HAD TO. Here. The first cinderblock to lob at my head is free! ...Yes, I keep a good market in cinderblocks.
Something I was going to share was a small tale about my Kobold Rogue/Bard known as Fang who began to develop a slight crush on the group's guild handler/boss; a halfling who had Multiple Personalities and would only pay the group in copper. The first time that the group got paid; Fang was almost crushed by a sack of copper that was about seven gold pieces as he expected her to have "exact change". I don't think most of the group noticed it but every time they came back from missions; the first thing he would do was check in with her; he didn't eat, sleep, or even tend to wounds until he saw her. The boss was known for being the reason many people left the guild and Fang's natural curiosity drove him to find out why that was the case. Even when I had to leave the campaign due to scheduling issues; Fang still wrote a letter to her to tell her that she was not the reason why he needed to leave the guild and hinted that he may have some feelings for her.
In my first dnd game as a player, I a dwarf fighter got engaged to the ork chief. The cleric suduced a giant centipede. The dm was new and said if we rolled a 15 or higher we could seduce a monster to our side. We basically had a giant army of random beasts we were to weak to fight
I believe my best story comes from... an already slightly beastly, and a silver dragon. In this campaign, I play as the slimefolk, Spooly. Slimefolk, are slimes that after obtaining sentience, took on humanoid forms, Spooly himself was made in labratory. He and his younger brother, the warforged known as W4lt3r, were raised in a town full of beastly and regular folks due to the nature of the lab. Spooly however one day happenned upon an old tome in a hidden library. He opened the book and proceeded to go mad from one of the many spells within. None in the town seemed able to cure his madness, and so it went for months, until near a whole year had passed. Into the town entered a traveling healer, rare to the town but not unknown. The town kept its prescence quiet due to the, variance of their inhabitants. However not one to shy away from curiosities the healer stayed and the town began to trust him. Until one day they asked him to try and heal one their beloved town members gone mad. He accepted and this is when Spooly and Sidai'yan first met. For near one full week Sidai'yan worked, until he found what he thought might be a cure. It involved melding with the afflicted, in a psionic ritual to connect and heal from the inside out. The ritual took place on the very day that marked theyear long anniversary of Spooly's madness. Within the minds no one shall know what exactly happenned, only knowing that when it was finished, Spooly had come back to them. Not long after the two became married, fascinated and infatuated with one another. On that night they each revealed a secret to the other, Spooly revealrd he had kept and began studying, The Tome of a Thousand Tongues. Sidai'yan revealed his true nature, and the reason for his human form, a curse plaguing him for years, after this Spooly began his search for a cure.
Goo-Human+Dragonkin shipping? Pretty well & decently written! Though there's ground there if the Mindmelding spell denotes a genuine infatuation rather than a mere magical genesis of just naturally "getting" each other. Hmm... ...Love it!
Oh my gosh this was soooo funny. I once had a friend who was a halfling and when the party first met the princess leading the rebellion against her father the first thing he does is run up and propose marriage. She had a boyfriend and he was a slimey thief who stole from nuns so I had him roll a persuasion check and...he got a nat 20...ugh. So I had her turn him down but still a little flustered with his forwardness. I decided to rewrite the story so that the captured boyfriend is a demon behind all the BS happening so that they'll have to kill him and our thief will be able to try again after her ex is dead XD I love D&D
Love your gazer avatar, arrived to this video from the collab with PuffinForest and I can't believe how adorable you make such an aberration. Grey's pretty adorable too
My Lizardfolk Rogue Assassin ended up having to trick a nest of Harpies that he was a deity in order to not be swarmed and they offered the daughter of the nest’s priestess to him for mating. The result was 1 egg that hatched into a Harpy Character that would later become the most memorable character in our group to this day.
i love the narration and the expressiveness of the character even more than i love the absurdity of the situation. which is considerable, i mean, a dwarf ranger? seriusly?
Wow, for someone starting out you have an amazing artstyle and lack a lot of the problems i see rather inexperienced youtubers struggling with. The pacing and artsyyle is also fantastic! Keep up the good work!
Your storytelling is so incredible and the animatics are fantastic! I really am blown away by how much expression you are able to make happen with the beholder narrator, as well as with your other voices and acting!
I swear, every time I see someone say Beholder in the comments, my immediate reaction is always a groan, followed by “No, there’s only 4 eyestalks, it’s a Spectator, not a Beholder.”
I had a experience where my Orc Warpriest Carrug had become quite the local legend amongst a Dwarven Colony. So much so that when the party stopped by to restock, turns out that gruff warpriest had managed to make a small horde of half Dwarf, half Orc hybrids. So in our group's universe, we have a new race of Dwarves with Orc tusks and green skin now....so yeeeaahhh, that happened xD
A tale of weird romance but romance none the less: My kitsune Arcane Rifleman, Arsene Vulpin, willingly contracted vampirism to gain access to a secretive and seductive brothel and bar. He then realized that with vampirism, he could now be with his immortal lover, the god-stripped-Of-his-powers known as Torren Blacksky. So technically it is a tale of monster romance.
Wow I found this without puffin forest surprisingly I cant wait to see where you go with this all. Also the stories I could tell you about my shardmind Tinkles!
0:23 "Spend most of his days..." my brain: this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside-down... thats where I _spent most of my days_
I love so much about this. The verbal delivery, the expressive art style (how do you manage to make a chibi beholder go though so many expression? How do you manage to pull off making a beholder sassy? How do you at the same time manage to have the party drawn in a more detailed style and be just as expressive, and ontop of that not have the different styles clash in a bad way?)
Your artwork and animation will definitely be great in terms of DnD storytelling.... This coming from a guy who's a sucker for these kinds of channels, yours while new has great potential and with puffinforest liking your content then I'm definitely sure you're great..... Also Gazer avatar is cute and the doppelganger too.

About a few weeks ago(we havent been able to play for a bit) me and some friends played a DND game with a npc dwarf our DM played as,a half orc,a gargoyle and a dragonborne,in short ill say it like this,a dwarf, gargoyle, dragonborne, blind gargoyle and half orc walk into a hidden civilization and accidentally killed everyone behind a wall of sheer ice 😂 we went through a forest and our dragonborne killed a babygoblin by accident because the baby goblin was trying to get our party to buy some fur shampoo, none of us had fur and our dragonborne was being pushed the most, she tried to get the goblin to stopped but when she tried to push them away she forgot her modifier and accidentally killed the goblin baby, our party fled deep into the area and hid in a huge crack in a wall.after the entire civilization my character a half orc wizard decided to use ray of frost and make a massive wall so they cant come back after us but little did i know they didnt make it out...whoops-thats the story of how a dragonborne killed a baby goblin and a half orc froze away a entire civilization and traumatized the rest of the party from it,the funniest part was the fact our dragonborne kept the fur shampoo when she has scales 😂
found out this were a thing a couple of months ago. finally managed to binge through some of the vids you have here. Thx for existing. that was a load of fun to watch.
The Halfling is a doppelgänger. What rules did you use for that pc? I ask because I got confused because you kept calling them jello or such and seemed to have abilities I didn’t see before.
Well, we did have to homebrew quite a bit since there really isn't much to go on as far as official biology for Doppelgangers. In the MM, they are parasitic breeders and have minor psionic abilities to manipulate people. I came across this lore post and fell in love with the idea that they are actually a subspecies of mimic: (www.reddit.com/r/DnDBehindTheScreen/comments/3kz6gb/doppelganger/) So we went with that. So that's why all there's a lot of goo references.
@@jessjackdaw Hmmmm. Why not divergent evolution? Like they have a common magical ancestor but they took that shapeshifting ability in different directions and thus became their own species?
@@jessjackdaw You know there was actually a 'half-doppelganger' race back in 3.5 called Changeling, from the Eberron campaign setting, might want to look into adapting that. :) I think that might have even made it's way to 5e already...

I've been writing a book since 13th novbember about my dnd characters, but using the games rules. Loving the style of the video. The fact that you can convey so well the emotions that are evident in your voice with such an abnormal character is very impressive! Your voice is very nice as well, it's silky smooth and reminds me of my childhood in Georgia. Subbed for more!

After the campaign the dm said that the 2 went off to live in the mountains and started a family going on further adventures
Hope you enjoy
Oh wow! That's awesome! What the heck was up that wizard's robe though? That rude remark was totally uncalled for.
You know... I won't lie. As a DM I did the same thing where two patrons were fighting over one benefactor. Deep down, I might be an anime DM too. XD
@@jessjackdaw yes Anime Dm xD once I was in a anime campaign and the dm had sheshomuru( excuse my spelling )) sweep me away on his scarf XD I cant think about it without laughing
Yo, Tami squad! I just talked about my Tami!
Roll your dex save, please."
Perfect rolls don't always lead to success. Sometimes you can try to seduce someone who just is not into that, and it won't work.
I so love my followers of Arshea, nothing like a Paladin with Arshea as a god/dess.
If you want to make other party members uncomfortable, take the animal speaker class....
I actually managed to seduce the brother of the BBEG, in my group’s current campaign!

"My eye knows a thing or two about beauty" is the most underappreciated joke on this video
Crisis averted?
Remember..a well placed pun will fix any situation
But he rolled a NAT 1... how did he SUCCEED!!
Richard, my human alchemist attempted (and succeeded in) seducing Medusa in a one shot. He wore a blindfold, ala BirdBox, rolled surprisingly well on charisma checks, for someone who had very little charisma, and got some tail.
I think you mean "Head."
...as Medusai are a buncha tiny little snake heads growing out of a bigger head.

I've never played DND but i loved this. You should make more of these stories.
To update the story. My slimefolk spooly just got turned into a human. Unwillingly.

The result was 1 egg that hatched into a Harpy Character that would later become the most memorable character in our group to this day.

Aww, thanks man, that means a lot! :)
I can’t wait for the second part, I’m already hooked on this story! You’ve earned a new subscriber with this lovely art and interesting stories!
Can i just say that i absolutely LOVE the facial expresions your beholder mascot had during this video, they were amazingly well done!
A tale of weird romance but romance none the less:
My kitsune Arcane Rifleman, Arsene Vulpin, willingly contracted vampirism to gain access to a secretive and seductive brothel and bar. He then realized that with vampirism, he could now be with his immortal lover, the god-stripped-Of-his-powers known as Torren Blacksky. So technically it is a tale of monster romance.
Your artwork is probably the best I've seen in these types of videos. Visually stunning to watch and a great story to follow.
