I stayed across the road and the camp area was full of Ghanaians, many of the refugees have made their way out of there years ago.
It's only my opinion but i think the camp thrived because there's no social housing available, people buy land and tend to build a private residence or guest house and many Ghanaians cannot afford the rental market.

Madam, please it's important to get your facts right so you are not presenting a one-sided view. The refugees have overstayed their welcome and as u rightly stated, this camp lost its refugee status nearly 12 years ago. It has reportedly been a source of criminality. Occupants have been warned on several occasions to leave. Just look on TH-cam, there are multiple videos from recent years where occupants keep asking for more time. It couldn't go on indefinitely.

Stop glorifying unlawful and illegality….Ghana government has done a lot for them ,they should go back to Liberia to help its development

This is cruel. The sin of greed. The owner of this land will never know peace for this action. The owner doesn't realize that there is an afterlife. This life is only a "blip", not eternity.

Would you allow people to take your land for good? How long has they been living there?

@@johnd2757 ... So showing up at 4 AM to bulldoze homes that people are living in making them homeless and allowing for a pregnant woman to lose her life over this ordeal is not considered cruel??? 🤔🧐🤨
