The Amazon ad was so accurate 😂all their ads focus on flexibility for school, family, and etc. Apparently all their employees are in school/ following their dreams or have kids 😂

There was one a while back that was like "Amazon has flexible morning shifts so I can make extra money in addition to my other job" and I just couldn't believe that was the messaging they wanted to go with

I thought I was the only one who noticed Amazon commercials were self-congratulatory. Amazon’s unofficial tag line is: “We pay most of our employees just enough to keep them out of the homeless shelter but not enough to pay their rent”
Amazon wages: enough for the employees to consider suicide, but not enough for them to buy a suitable length of rope even on Amazon.

I definitely noticed that they are proud of their employees desperately trying to work careers other than Amazon. That alone is an odd approach. Years ago McDs ran tons of commercials about people starting at fry cook or cashier and then owning franchises, say what you will about McDs but that's definitely better advertising.

@@CliftonPhotographer that’s actually what NJM tries to do. The only problem is that instead of having a mascot or catchy jingle to segue into talking about their insurance, they made their entire brand “No Jingles or Mascots”, and that’s all that their ads are.
They are pretty much the only insurance ad (aside from liberty mutual, which is a painfully corporate attempt to be like the competition) I’ve ever seen that doesn’t talk at all about why someone should switch to their company. They really only rely on “we don’t have a jingle or mascot, like other insurance companies, so you should switch to us.”

The best Real BP ad is the one one about how their partnership with dawn dishsoap and filming in over-saturated color totally fixes the catastrophic and continuous oil spills in their profit not maintenance portfolio they share with prospective investors.

Oh my god this has been my experience of watching commercials since I started watching TV. I am so glad they made this 😭😭😭
Okay, I just started paying attention to comments last week. I am truly amazed at people saying things like “This isn’t funny” , “SNL hasn’t been funny in years”, “ SNL hasn’t been funny since….” like they are stating facts and not opinions. Do people not realize there are many forms of comedy and they can hit people differently? That if they really don’t like it, why are they watching the videos? Do people really like to watch stuff they don’t like so they can comment on how much they don’t like it? 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t watch things I don’t like. I also don’t leave comments to make my opinions look like facts when I don’t like something. I know others do and that’s great! I love that we are allowed different opinions and nobody’s forced to watch something they don’t like.
I am learning some are just traps, waiting for you to bite so they can argue with someone. Just a warning. I am not falling for that anymore.😂
